Good morning all from a dark and wet North Licestershire.

DD2 and co are coming for the day and staying overnight on their way to a half term break. It will be lovely to see them all.

Have the best day possible.

Good morning from a dark and very rainy Black Country.

Great weekend so far, the gig at Symphony Hall was brilliant, then we popped into a pub after where there was Karaoke.

Stayed overnight, then a lovely meet up with some of the family yesterday for lunch. Niece is now 31! We left around 4pm. Still looking forward to seeing Brother and SIL's new house, they are busy re-decorating and waiting for new furniture for guests to sit on.

MrJ drove down to Bristol yesterday to help his DD move. He will be back later today, so I have an empty!

Zumba this morning at the gym, need to get back into it after our holiday.

Enjoy your holiday in Ibiza Grandmadinosaur at least you are escaping the cold and wet here!

Happy Sunday everyone.

Good morning all from a stormy S Hampshire. That’s all good news Mick pleased to hear it.
What a snuggly start to the day Shazza.
Have a lovely holiday Grandmadinosaur sun and warmth is certainly tempting, go easy in those clubs!
Can’t you declare a day of rest gMattie? Sunday seems appropriate.
Not a clue what we’re doing today, if this weather continues it won’t be a lot.
Enjoy your day all ??

Good morning all from the airport lounge.

Just had a hectic breakfast with the little ones! Who said this was a good idea. We will be fine once we’re there. Will be boarding in about half an hour and then off to the heat of Ibiza.
Shazza don’t forget your purse today ?
Take care everyone.

Good Morning Mick and everyone from Hull. Rain is forecast all day.
It’s good to hear your weight is creeping up and your energy levels are improving Mick.

I’m awake early as I have a proper little cutie GD1 laid next to me she is having milk and watching tv in bed. Gosh she tosses and turns she can’t keep still in sleep. I pulled my heavy weighted blanket over her and she slept very soundly after that and I got some sleep.
We are taking her to Smyths toys so she can choose her birthday present which is tomorrow she’d like a marble run. I’m sure there will be other treasures she’ll spot while there. Then to McDonald’s. I will be needing a nap later after taking her home. DH is enjoying a lovely night sleep in the spare room downstairs.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone of family and friend gatherings and delicious Sunday lunches. Virtual hugs to those suffering family stress and illness??

good morning from a horribly wet s somerset. Thunderstorms and torrential rain. Pressure reading has plummeted on my weather station

Days like this I hop from meal to meal so I need to find something engrossing to do. Sewing later but first a pull -out larder cupboard to sort. Otherwise a pottering at home day

Good morning from E Kent.
I’m glad you’re already feeling better, Mick; I hope the same can be said of Marydoll after her day in bed.
DL had a (male) friend visit and he took her to see the flat she wants to buy. It was the first time she’s been out since her amputation. We don’t have a ramp yet and, although I will help, I am very firm that if she wants to go out it isn’t me taking her.
Feeling a bit tired after flu jab yesterday.
Quiet today, unless DL has more of her million friends visit/text/telephone….
Carpe diem ???

Good morning everyone from a still dark Northampton. Not raining at the moment, but heavy showers forecast.

Up early as I am off on a day trip - to Staffs for a steam train ride and Sunday lunch on board. A friend who lives nearby is also going and we have arranged to share a taxi to the coach pick-up point.

Enjoyed the film 'Emily' yesterday, but very intense - it was an imagined account of her life before she wrote Wuthering Heights, and what influenced the book. I realised I had never read it, so have downloaded it onto my Kindle.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Mick. Take care on your days out. Enjoy your steak!

Hope Sunday is pleasant for all.

Morning all from a dark and damp West Oxfordshire. I’ll be in bed for at least another couple of hours! A quiet day today. Reading the papers (what is going on with politics in this country?) and cooking dinner - Diane Henry’s recipe for pot roasted chicken in milk, lemon and garlic. Son and his family are probably coming for a day or two next week as it’s half term. So I’ll be planning menus etc. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good news Mick.
Good morning from a very very wet Oxfordshire, the rain woke me up at 5.30 a real Tropical downpour, hope it stops soon as Mz and MasterOops are coming up from Cornwall and it will be a terrible drive for them.

Apart from preparing beds, hoovering and cleaning and fixing a roast for this afternoon, I have a free day.

Hope we see some sunshine today, it’s still very dark here. Hugs to all those who aren’t so chipper today.
