Is this a reference to her alleged 'distraction' by crossing and uncrossing her legs? Or is it her habit of getting straight to the point, calling a spade a spade instead of pussyfooting around the truth?

easybee I have a friend who failed all her A levels and ended up a Judge. Now retired with an ample pension.

Yes, she did qualify as a solicitor, but she was single and childless, not coping as a single mother.

I have endless respect for Angela Rayner, even if I agree with her on very little.

The M.P. for my own constituency IF I knew who he was? His predecessor was Rory Stewart who seemed to be everywhere doing lots of work. The one now is an unseen, unknown quantity.
He will get re-elected though as this is such a safe seat you could put a sheep up and it would get voted in.

They used to say my hometown was such a safe seat for labour that you could put a monkey up wearing a red rosette and it would win. Sadly it turned blue at the last GE when the red wall fell! I don't live there any more, so had no part in the travesty, but I'm guessing a lot of people will have regrets now!

I like many others on here would particularly like to see the smile wiped from the face of Rees-Mogg but there are a few others - Gove, Truss, Hancock and of course Johnson!

She failed to complete her education, made no attempt to rectify this in later life, has no qualifications yet apparently thought she was competent to become the Shadow Secretary of State for Education.

I'd like to see the whole lot of Tory MPs out of a job, but I would especially like to see the back of:

Rees-Mogg, Dorries, Kwarteng, Truss, Patel, Braverman, Shapps, Duncan-Smith - oh just loads of them come to mind.

With regard to Angela Rayner, I think she has done very well, given her deprived background - apparently her mother could not read or write. She went to college to study social care and learned British Sign Language. She worked as a carer and then as a trade unionist. She has done an important and useful job and understands the plight of low paid workers. I think that is far more useful experience than acquiring theoretical knowledge which does not necessarily equip people to do jobs in the real world - Kwasi Kwarteng attended prep school and Eton and gained a PhD in economic history - and then crashed our economy.

Alister Jack. It might not be in a fridge but he's certainly hiding somewhere. And Rees-Mogg too.
