One of my dogs is going insane. Barking, panting. It's such a shame. She's nearly ten and it's so sad to see her so stressed.

she has not gone over but she is terribly stressed and is planning to sleep in the stable overnight.

Big continuous bangs near me, So utterly selfish, very many people have pets

Tonight my little dog has had to have 5mg of valium.
And even then I can’t leave the room.
DH is ill again, so I really can’t be doing with it.
It’s just a needless pain in the arse.

my dd has gone over to confront her neighbours, they are being extremely thoughtless, have visitors and it is extremely loud. Her horses, in stable, are absolutely terrified

We had a local organised firework display here last night. It was beautiful and only the whooshes.

Are there not compromises with acceptable/enjoyable sounds?
Like gentle different whooshes or gentle squeals, cut out the bangs?

Or organised displays only, no selling to the general public. My dog is cuddled up to me shivering even though I have the TV up quite loud…

It's been a couple of years now since we've had fireworks at this intensity.

At least one of my cats is really stressed out. If they do that to the domestic animals what are they doing for the wildlife? And the livestock? And I am sure to suffer with asthma tomorrow.

Isn't it time we did as the Italians do, and insist on silent fireworks only?

Is it
