Good morning from a very foggy Essex by the sea.
DH needs to be out early for rugby with his grandsons, a match some distance away.
I will watch the service from the Cenotaph.
Later a visit to the Yacht club to put up a poster for the Children's party in December.
Have a pleasant Sunday everyone xx

Good morning, s somerset will be sunny today and I am going out, no excuse I need the fresh air and exercise and sun and my bicycle awaits

Remembrance festival was very moving last night. Too many thoughts of the horrors my dad went through for six whole years.

I need to do a tidy later today. I take things out and suddenly I have messy rooms

Good morning from a misty NE.
Been awake since 5.15am, a lot of noise outside but couldn't see anyone.
Sister and BIL came yesterday and we had our usual glass or two. DS and family came in time for coffee and cake and stayed until 23.30. Luckily I had pre prepared most of the dinner and only had to make the dumplings and then heat everything.
Today SIL will visit and we will have roast beef and Yorkshire puddings with a nice bottle of red wine.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from E Kent. It’s only 11C here.
Happy birthday, olddudders 🥂🍾
I had a very quiet day yesterday apart from an odd call from a neighbour. She is a bit weird anyway, but asked if the rumours that I might be moving were true? Could her friends buy the house from me? They are downsizing. Yes, but I have no idea when I’m going…
I made Musakhan for dinner. Delicious!
Church at 8, then quiet again, I hope.
A lot of remembering today. Carpe diem. 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a balmy 14 degrees in Torbay. Such mild temperatures are a concern….

An excellent day yesterday with a brief visit to our church's coffee morning, which is very close to home. Later, we made a little foray into the park opposite my flat, partly to try newly installed benches. Old ones were removed by the Council months ago and most locals thought they wouldn’t be replaced. Interestingly, the new ones are most uncomfortable….. to stop anyone lingering too long?!

As it was olddudders’s birthday, we had a delicious Thai takeaway and we shared some Saumur fizz, my first alcohol for a few weeks. (In moderation out of respect for my meds!!)

A blessed Remembrance Sunday. ✝️
