Following on from the In/Out of step threads.
I watched Big Brother in the very early days, but don't watch any now

Find not fond

Have never watched big brother or anyone (celeb or not )on an island, Love or otherwise or Essex or Chelsea but do like 24 hrs A and E and really missing GPs behind closed doors though now I come to think of it that’s maybe where they all are, hiding. Certainly havnt seen mine since 2019, but that’s another thread.
Enjoy repair shop and Occasionally watch strictly and sewing 🧵 bee.
Really fond the moment when they announce who is going out annoying with the unnecessarily long pause.

I’m ashamed to say that I watch Made in Chelsea and have done so from about series three. It’s now totally scripted and absolute rubbish but I can’t get out of the habit of watching it. And the fact that these obscenely rich young people are paid to go on wonderful holidays when many people can’t afford holidays is also obscene. I wish it would be pulled because it’s way past it’s sell by date and then I couldn’t watch it.

I thought I only watched a couple but after reading this thread it's more!

Never watched TOWIE, Geordie Shore, Married at First Sight
But I love the 90.Day Fiance shows and Dancing on Ice. Even though I dislike Holly and Philip.

Watching the jungle at the moment but I'm finding it rather hard going this year. So many dull people.

I think it's great when a couple really hit it off.

MissAdventure

I like first dates and gogglebox smile

Of course, I only found out by accidentally watching them, so I think I've redeemed my foul tastes somewhat.

I never make a point of watching First Dates. In fact I wouldn’t even know when it’s on or which channel either. But I often channel hop late at night and if I hit upon First Dates I have to watch it to the end.

I watched the first Big Brother, which was probably back in the Stone Age. grin I’ve watched Bake Off and Sewing Bee in the past but they get stale and boring. I watched one series of Love Island a few years ago when my dd was home all summer.

We rarely watch tv at all. The last things we saw were the Queen’s funeral and three episodes of Bridgerton.

Kate1949 Wed 16-Nov-22 21:59:39

I love The Repair Shop and Gogglebox. I don't think of them as reality but of course they are.

Only Sewing Bee and All that Glitters

I watched the first couple of I'm a Celebrity but the novelty soon wore off

MissAdventure Wed 16-Nov-22 20:43:00

I used to like 'The family'.
It was endlessly intriguing!

I started watching Bake Off and Strictly but stopped after a few series. Once it gets all hyper and more about the presenters and participants than what they are demonstrating I get bored. I watched the very first episodes of Big Brother but was bored out of my mind listening to the inane rubbish and realised that the youngsters down my local are far more entertaining, especially when they've had a drink or two. I think the only series I've stuck with is Sewing Bee, and I wasn't crazy about the last series of that. Used to catch the odd episode of Place in the Country just to look at the houses.

Kate1949 Wed 16-Nov-22 15:02:02

Only I'm A Celebrity after vowing we would never watch such dross. We are now addicted.

LadyGracie Wed 16-Nov-22 14:58:59

I only watch I’m a Celebrity, I look forward to it every year.

Bellasnana Wed 16-Nov-22 14:42:00

No. I would rather watch paint dry.🙄

Wyllow3 Wed 16-Nov-22 14:29:09

Sewing Bee, top ever. The painting ones. Sometimes "Repair shop".

Nature reality programmes. Very hooked on Great Train journeys as long as its not wall to wall posh wine swigging but lovely scenery I'll never see round the world.

Pretty hooked on Police Interceptors and similar. Not sure why.

Jaxjacky Wed 16-Nov-22 14:25:19

No, unless Googlebox is counted.

Georgesgran Wed 16-Nov-22 14:13:00

I’ve mixed feelings - I quite like shows where the public is helped - animal/human health, buying houses, Police Interceptors. I like Gogglebox too. However, I watch nothing that is competitive - Strictly, Bake Off, Love Island, sewing, pottery, jewellery.
Funnily enough I enjoy quiz shows, but that’s brains rather than beauty or skill. Nothing with so called celebrities interests me much.

MissAdventure Wed 16-Nov-22 14:00:46

Oh, I like those, too.
Escape to the country is a favourite.

FannyCornforth Wed 16-Nov-22 13:57:53

And then there’s all the house hunting ones (A Place in the Sun etc) and the house selling ones (Homes under the Hammer).

Smileless2012 Wed 16-Nov-22 13:57:27

IACGMOOH is the only one I've ever watched.
