Good morning all from East Yorkshire. It is 5 degrees and foggy according to Alexa.

We’ve had a quiet weekend and yesterday went for a walk around the marina. There was a craft market on and we bought a couple of items.

Today I have a hair appointment mid morning. Beyond that I have lots to do tidying etc and I want to start some Christmas baking soon. I also have an order to collect from M&S.

Hoping all has gone well for Greyduster with her op.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a dark but dry and warm Lanzarote. A sunny day forecast and 26 degrees when we landed. Hope your appointments go well Mick
GM how on earth will your DL cope with a dog! However, she is going so best not to ask her!
An uneventful trip over yesterday, then MrOops was in the pool and getting some sunshine whilst I unpacked, a meal out later at our favourite restaurant, then a quick shop for some breakfast items and then back here to relax.

Hope everyone has a good day today I’ll pop back later.

Good morning from Essex by the sea. A small correction, it's the 28th not the 29th November just in case anyone gets a fright.
I'm off to Bluewater this morning, meeting DD2 . We are both hoping the M25 behaves, she comes from Kent me from Essex.
Here's hoping that you all have a lovely Monday, much love xx

Morning Mick, morning All, still looks damp out there. Our corner of Somerset is very soggy indeed.

Decent pottering day yesterday. Much the same this morning, an appointment was made for our shy gas meter to be checked, it’s sulking and refusing to be smart. Haven’t had the usual reminder so anyones guess if an engineer will arrive. Hope to get out later, a wait and see day.

Hope those appointments later in the week go well mick. I’m just relieved you didn’t take in the dog as well gtandmattie.

Thoughts as ever for those with worries of any kind. Hope Monday is kind to us all.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 7° and looks damp. I've been awake since half past four and I have a full day of childcare ahead so I'm on coffee number one. Have a good day all

Morning all from a still dark but dry S Yorks.

Bests for all your appointments Mick and grandMattie you have gone "Above and beyond" for so long now.

Up early to escape a dream, but have a quiet day ahead: a Zoom counselling session and hopefully the cards finished.
and posted.

Bests for all you endeavours today, GN's, may poorlies/family poorlies be as well as you all can, and any special events enjoyed.

Good morning all from dark South Lanarkshire, I think it’s dry out there.

DH is up and bustling about as the car is booked in for a service at eight and he likes to have time to make the coffee, for which he grinds the beans daily, and take the daft dug out without rushing.

He will then take me to work in whatever courtesy car the garage provides.

We were missing one person at our lunch yesterday as one of my sisters in law has covid and is quite unwell with it. Two of DD’s brood have also come down with it and have been more affected than the last time.

Church teas yesterday was busy, the hall isn’t large and we were bursting at the seams. It was the first time for months though as we’ve been in a state of flux for a while with the last temporary priest having moved on to a different parish and our new temporary priest still settling in.

Wishing you all the best possible day, thinking especially of those who are ill or distressed.

Good morning from a dry, dark E Kent.
All the best with you hospital appointments, Mick.
Got to church just after the service started yesterday. Our vicar has retired and we are in an interregnum, the vicar taking the service stared almost early, added things missed others out, it was quite unsettling.
I did the cleaning yesterday. I hadn’t realised how heavy the vacuum cleaner is…. It exhausted me - especially as it had been DH’s job most of our marriage.
DL’s friend came just before lunch to bring her dog to visit. I’m glad I didn’t have it as well! She is not especially well behaved. The poor woman has had this dog since early August and is starting to feel she too has had enough.
We had Urms’s SOAP dish for dinner. It really is delicious.
My best wishes for this in trouble or sorrow, wishing them a gentle day. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩
