Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark outside and cold plus looks like fog as well because I can see a reflection of the christmas lights which are on trees by the town hall here in brackley.
Today , usual trip to Bicester, and then return and have some lunch, before I relax this afternoon.
Take Care,
Mick

Thankyou for kind friends for wishes, not. a trial so far as I know but seems best of the worst.

mamaa Wed 30-Nov-22 14:17:06

🤗 and best wishes from me too for Megs

Dental visit over. Very slightly loose lower molar which I am hanging onto for dear life. 🤞

Hoping Grey is recovering well after surgery and hugely wishing all goes well for you Megs.

I am not having much luck finding strawberry netting to cover newly planted pot bulbs. I have tried with no luck at a few garden centres and may have to resort to a search on the big river company.
Oh, gosh Brook. I am so impressed and envious that you can enjoy such wonderful views from that walkway. I have completely given up attempting to reach the first level of the Eiffel Tower, I simply freeze in terror when it comes to heights.

It’s blooming freezing out there today so will continue to fouter around indoors.

Sending healing hugs to you Meg’s for your treatment 💐💐💐

Another dull day, but at least it’s not foggy. Very cold though.
Thoughts and prayers for you, Megs - hope the treatment goes well for you.
Bluebalou we never have turkey at Christmas. Last year we had chicken, the year before beef and this year we’ve opted for pork. Duck is nice, though it gives off a lot of fat when cooking and not a lot of meat compared with, for example chicken, but there’s enough meat on it for two, and some of the fat is great for the roasties.
Happy St Andrews day to all the Scottish grans.

By special request ...
Ta da!

My thoughts and prayers, Megs 🙏

GrannyGravy13 Wed 30-Nov-22 11:55:28

Morning all

Urmstongran all of us ladies had rather heavy heads going to bed last night 😘

I have cadged a lift with son and daughter in law over the Thames to Bluewater. It is heaving, no signs of a recession here.

Currently sitting in Carluccio’s with a coffee and scrolling GN.

Couldn’t post earlier as 7yr old wanted bacon & eggs before his 8am school start, and I had to reacquaint the vacuum with the carpet before daylight (no cleaners this week) . Then it was a rush to get showered and dressed for 9am

(Our lunch was full of fun, friendship, food and wine, there is nothing better than great girl friends)

Have a good Wednesday folks 🙋‍♀️🦩

Where’s GG13 this morning? I hope her head’s not still in that ashtray after she’d enjoyed her Ladies fund raiser lunch yesterday afternoon.

Beechnut Wed 30-Nov-22 11:32:05

I hope all goes well for you Megs.
Tell me to mind my own business if you like but are you doing it as part of a trial?

BlueBalou Wed 30-Nov-22 11:29:49

EkwaNimitee I have decided on porchetta, with all the trimmings, as a compromise 😊

Marydoll Wed 30-Nov-22 11:29:28

Keeping you in my prayers, Megs.

Kalu Wed 30-Nov-22 11:23:53

Good morning all from Glasgow. I am in a
mad rush this morning as I have just realised I have a dental appointment at 12.00 !

Thank you to all for your anniversary wishes. We had a very pleasant day doing nothing.
Happy St Andrews Day - Haggis tonight.

Have a good day all, I will pop back later.

Blossoming Wed 30-Nov-22 11:00:27

Auntieflo Wed 30-Nov-22 10:41:38

Good morning Annie and all.
Not a good day yesterday, so resting and snoozing today.
Have a good day one and all.

annsixty Wed 30-Nov-22 10:34:53

That is very promising news Megs my prayers are still with you.

Urmstongran Wed 30-Nov-22 10:31:56

Home again to finally finish off my very long novel trilogy only to find there are another two books, presumably also very long, to go. What's the name for that, a quinology?

A nuisance I’d say Ekwa! 🤣

Megs36 Wed 30-Nov-22 10:31:27

After long chats at ‘oncology’ last weekend and yesterday, today start onTargeted lung cancer therapy, newish treatment I gather.

hollysteers Wed 30-Nov-22 10:15:20

Good morning Mick and all from a dull northwest coast. Not much to report as trying to shake off this horrible cold. Forgot to put the recycle bin out but not bothered as not much to go in. Gardener coming today after letting me down yesterday.
Need to shop as bookgroup are due here this week (wine, cheese etc) and I’m out of some essentials.
On top of that, I have a very sore eye for some reason, so feeling really under the weather and hate missing all my usual doings, I’m not really a ‘house’ person.
But to those with real worries and troubles, I send my very best wishes 💕
