Having attended the first gathering in 3 years of extended family-all 14 of us I could not sleep. my mind was full of the big changes that those 3 years have brought eg all the DGC and D Nieces/Nephews are teenagers now. When I was asked my age I had replied that this year I have been leading the big parade and next year I'll be stripping at sunset.
One DD will be in Hawaii, A DGS & a DGD will turn ?? although both are
very tall but very nice. a DSIL will be steps, the Dog will be in Downing Street, and so on.

Using this formula How Old are You and Yours??

Well, I think I do but am not sure that there is a relevant 'clue' for my next birthday when I will have reached my allotted span plus the seasons in the year.

Can’t manage all of it, but one DGC is unlucky, another is a square, another is a game of pins, another is a Scottish reel.
DH is a big parade.
A good mind game.

I've got it, I'm the reverse of 76 trombones but can't think of anything for 68, next birthday on Friday the 13th. My great niece is sweet 16, my sister's DIL - life begins, but none of the others are anything obvious.

My dh is 3/4 of a century. Dd1 is life begins plus days of the week and dd2 also life begins plus the ideal fruit/ veg recommended daily amount.

Oooh, I have a daughter who is life begins plus the days of the week. Eldest son is half a century and solo, DS2 is life begins plus 3 seasons. Another daughter is life begins and solo and youngest daughter is 3 big boxes of Eggs.

DH is on Sunset Strip for a while longer.

I cannot begin to think of the grand children except the eldest who has the key of the door.
