Post has just been delivered - 4:00pm. 9 January. Guess what? 2 Christmas cards! One postmarked 17 Dec. the other unmarked. It's not as if we are that rural either. I think that they post office must be scraping the barrel for 2022.

You beat us. Our last (or latest, who knows?) one arrived on the 5th, just in time to put it up before taking it down the next day.

I got one today!

Pleased to see that its not just us! I'm thinking that the PO have been delivering the mail that's on the top of the pile first. I guess that they thought that there's no rush for Christmas cards now....

Please can I stake a claim?
Box of biscuits sent November 26th (to avoid strike action🙇‍♀️) has been received this afternoon to the address 150 miles south.

Hope they're still in date!

Talking of Xmas Cards, I received fewer this year. Postage costs, I guess.

Posted some cards on 11th December and unless they received them today they are still stuck somewhere.

It looks like they have given up hope if meeting their service levels......

Our last(?) was delivered today, 12 January. Posted in Gloucester on 22 December (first post mark) and restamped in Gloucester 7th January .

The distance between Gloucester and my home is 52 miles, so its 'speed' over the whole period was 2.5 miles a day. I could have walked there and back, even aat my age in that rate (5 miles a day).

Gloucester to home (7th - 12th January) is roughly 5 miles a day.

We go away this evening, back Tuesday. I wonder how many cards on the door mat will greet us on our return.

Just received a card from my brother in N Ireland, the date stamp looks like 13th December.
I posted a birthday card to my BIL in France at the end of November, he's yet to receive it.

Got a card posted from overseas on 10th. The other cards it was posted with arrived at their destinations, none more than 7 miles from me, around 12th December. Where on earth has mine been sitting all this time? Thinking of saving it to be the first one up at the end of the year grin
