Good morning all from East Yorkshire. The moon is still bright in the sky but I can see cloud around it.

Today as the weather isn’t supposed to be too good again we are going to Meadowhall. This is mainly to go to an actual M&S to exchange a Christmas present. I also remembered I have some trousers I’d ordered from there online that were too short. I’d forgotten all about them with Christmas doings so I’ll return them at the same time.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a much calmer Oxfordshire, the winds last night were howling around the chimney pots.

I went to Heythrop Mick years ago for one of our Company away days, it’s a lovely place and Warner Holidays are usually excellent.

Shopping delivery today and some ironing, I did a bit of cooking yesterday so don’t have to bother today.

Dog has gone home so no wet walks today.

Hope everyone has a good day and virtual hugs for those who aren’t so chipper. Let’s hope the sun shines at some stage today.

Good morning, wet and windy in Wiltshire 🙄😊, I can hear the wind from my cosy bed, it’s lashing down with rain, again.
Telephone consultation with a GP yesterday resulted in me going for more bloods this morning, ECG next week and an agreement that my heart failure is ramping up. I think I’m worn out really!
Hand massage and manicure later, a blissful hour of pampering.
I do hope you all enjoy today x

good morning, s somerset has two heavy rain days again. It is certainly not a bright and sparkly january this year

I am wool winding and jumper finishing later and I shall be able to wear it in two days. This is local yarn from local sheep from a small local mill. It is definitely warm and very cosy and needed after a chilly day yesterday. I was glad to do the last cable

I had a final account check with monmouthshire building society yesterday, had to send them some details but I have persisted as it will be nice to get 5.5% for a year of saving in 2023. I am very happy indeed to be withing easy walking distance of a post box and shops

The stove is set and ready to light but I am going to wait until after saturday when the weather will actually be colder, I don`t really like the cleaning after a lit day

Morning Mick, morning All from a soggy corner of Somerset.

Some list progress yesterday encouraged a venture out for a cuppa mid afternoon. All very mundane really. Back to routine today. Grocery delivery and dust removal. Heavy rain forecast for most of the day along with a strong wind, no plans to venture forth.

Our friend from Norfolk has been quite poorly, enough to worry us. Better news yesterday brought a smile to our faces and relief in her daughters voice.

Hope theres a smile for everyone today.

Good morning from a damp Torbay after a wet and windy day yesterday.

It’s good to have breaks to which you can look forward, Mick; it helps the year along. I’m glad you enjoyed W.I. more than anticipated, grandMattie, but coming home to an empty house in Winter isn't pleasant.

Our theatre has heating issues currently so I didn’t enjoy attending Props yesterday and felt off colour for much of the day. Never mind; overall my good days are outnumbering the other kind by quite a margin. And it gave me a reason to snuggle under a blanket for the afternoon!

DH is heading for Derby today so we have an early start for him to catch a train from Newton Abbot. He is meeting some old friends for lunch. I have a cardiac rehabilitation Teams meeting then Wednesday Club.

Happy hump day, everyone! 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning from a very cloudy E Kent.
Enjoy your holiday planning for the coming year, Mick.
The weather has been unpleasant with strong, penetrating winds making it feel colder than it really is.
The WI meeting last night was more interesting than I remembered, more details, more photos. Several people talked to me too, making it a fairly pleasanter evening. I no longer enjoy evening outings though.
Today, I’ve got the knit and natter at Age Concern, then absolutely must do my Spanish homework for tomorrow.
Hope everything goes well for everyone. Carpe diem. 🦩🦩🦩
PS Nice to see Lauranorder back.
