Despite all the complaints about Royal Mail….

….the other day I packed up 2 big heavy parcels of outgrown children’s clothes from a dd, to send to her cousin 150 miles away. I used Click and Drop for the labels and paying postage, and our lovely postman collected them the next day - no extra charge.

Might add that we had a few late cards, but the majority arrived before Christmas.

We’re still getting cards but I think that is our end that is causing the delays.

I prefer Royal Mail to all the other delivery companies. I can always trust that they will not leave parcels on my doorstep. We have a problem here of thieves following delivery company vans and taking parcels left outside front doors...

I prefer the other delivery companies where you can divert the delivery to a shop post office or neighbour if you are not in. You can also follow their delivery route in real-time

Royal Mail is the most expensive delivery option and if not in they will leave a card. In my area the sorting office is not open for collection every day.

Royal Mail have been prioritising parcels, so they say.
Letters and cards are playing second fiddle.
