…and go anywhere and back, just for one day, where would it be?

I would go to Sydney and do the harbour bridge climb again.

I'd go back to a day when my grandfather was a little boy...he had a pretty awful childhood.
I'd sit with him, give him a big hug and tell him to hold on, things will get better.

How many hours are there is in fantasy day because I'd like to go to see the cherry blossom in Kyoto and then stop off in Delhi on the way back to see my lovely friends

I would go back to 3 days before my mother died. It was still covid restrictions and I didn’t hug her before I left because of this. I would hug her goodbye and tell her I loved her. It was the last time I saw her.

I can think of lots of other times but it depends on the reception one would get!

If we're talking about going back in time, one of my choices would be Dallas, November 22, 1963, so I could finally find out the truth about who shot JFK.

I would go back in time (can it do that) and tell my husband who died 2 years ago that I love him and miss him so much

Casdon Sun 15-Jan-23 15:17:05

I think I’d like to go back to my parents’ wedding day, and meet all the people who were there, including my great grandma, who was a Victorian. My parents have been married for over 70 years, and it would be so nice to be able to talk to them with some knowledge about their families and friends, as only two others that were there are now still alive.

I would like to go back and meet Elizabeth I, my all time heroine.

April '67 when I had a magical walk alongside some cascading waterfalls at a place called Bruar in Scotland.

I'd jump back in time to ask my mum and her sisters more about the family - I've been doing the family tree and would love to hear some stories about my grandparents.

Curlywhirly Sun 15-Jan-23 12:20:18

Oh I can't choose between going back for a day in the Victorian era to see my town and villages as they were or, going back to the 70s when my Mum and Nannie were still alive and asking them all the ancestry questions I have!

GrannyGravy13 Sun 15-Jan-23 11:41:23

I would take my sister with me to visit my darling maternal Granny, we could tell her we were ok and let her know of our families and lives. I would tell her that I have remembered so much of her good advice and how helpful it’s been over the years.

( she died the month before I was 19 and my sister was nearly 3)

(If I can be extra greedy I would love Mum to be there also)

Sparklefizz Sun 15-Jan-23 11:37:31

I'd go back to 29th December 1994 to save my Mum who died needlessly because her neighbour phoned the GP, who came out 3 hours later, instead of phoning an ambulance as an emergency. When the GP came out, he immediately called an ambulance because she had had an aneurysm and she died on the way to hospital.

I still miss her.

elleks The first time we went to Venice we went to Florians too. However, we were given a voucher from our hotel to have a very small biscuit and a coffee there for three euros!

Babamaman Sun 15-Jan-23 11:34:55

I would relive my grandson’s barmitzvah or my 70 surprise birthday party -2 of the happiest and proudest days of my life
And then a return trip to vietnam

HeavenLeigh Sun 15-Jan-23 11:33:12

We could go together yes timetogo x

I'd go back to see my mum again so we could go for one of our lunches and have a good yarn. She made me promise not to go back to my controlling ex husband, who I had just walked out on before she died. I kicked him to the kerb, got my divorce and I am much happier on my own. She would just love that.

Or to wander around Venice again and pop into Harry's bar for a Bellini. Even though we knew we were being ripped off, it felt so decadent.

It's a bit special, so you budget for it. Better than buying cheap souvenirs! My husband and I had coffee and cakes at Florian's cafe, even though we knew it would be cheaper a few streets away.

BlueBelle Sun 15-Jan-23 11:29:41

I d just want to give my mum and dad a hug again

timetogo2016 Sun 15-Jan-23 11:27:39
