…and go anywhere and back, just for one day, where would it be?

I would go to Sydney and do the harbour bridge climb again.

I’d go back to when my late husband complained to GP of constant and long suffered back pain and was fobbed off as wear and tear and old age and ask for a second opinion. His back pain was terminal bone cancer.

I would be tempted to go back and ask my 'father' how he could treat his family so badly.

It would also be interesting to go forward in time, say 100 years, then 1,000 years, then 10,000 years so long as the future inhabitants didn't want to put one in a museum.

I would like to go back to 1819 to Haworth to see what really happened to one of my ancestors, Reverend Samuel Redhead who was, very briefly, the curate there just before the Bronte family arrived there.
There are two accounts of what happened, one involving a donkey and a drunken chimney sweep, and another more sinister one, also involving a donkey but with an attempt by the congregation to murder him! I would love to be there to see what the truth was.

Wow cloughdancer!!!! I'm hooked, there's definitely at least a documentary in there if not a series......worth pitching methinks!

It seems to have been forgotten that a tardis takes you to other times, not just places. So how about going to the Moon to see Armstrong and Aldrin arrive. From out of sight of course :-)

Or....... possibly to discover.....nobody pretending to mess about On an unknown surface using technology we'd find hard to match today.......always suspicious of that little jaunt...

I would go back to the day my neice was killed, I would stand beside her bed and when the scum climbed through her window I would stop him

I would go back to 1975 and not go on the fateful blind date with my mate who mixed up two "Steve" phone callers and arranged a date with the one sh didn't fancy first! She only would go I'd I went with her to make up foursome! I married the other guy 12 months later and my life has been amix of grief betrayals bing used and discarded by both he and my youngest son leaving me feeling totally wrecked in my old age. Why did I think he was so attractive? He was very different from all the others and non threatening, physically, but the mind? Ah the mind.....

Chocolatepudding that's so moving .
Local press also printed front page splash of my totally wrecked car in which my BiL was killed in 1988, gaining access to the car by lying to our garage owner friend by saying he was police photographer. I too would love to hunt them down and make them regret what they did to us all.

I think I would go back to the mid-eighties and music college. It would be lovely to be in the high level ensembles and also to be with my friends, two of whom have since died, sadly. I have kept up with quite a few. I would probably go back to 1984/5, my second year when I shared a house with two other girls; one of whom was in the year above me and my best friend. We still keep in touch with each other and see each other when we can, despite living at opposite ends of the country. It was such a happy, carefree time when I was young.

There are some absolutely fabulous trips undertaken here by so many! Great memories take you back like it was yesterday.
From my few, not extensive travels - I long to go back to London!! One of my fav cities in the world! Planning on more travel, anywhere, everywhere - always, while I still can.
Cheers!

Sparklefizz There’s no sparkle in your memory post here. It was an unfortunate and sad occurrence for you in the way it played out. It may have, could have had a different ending - we don’t know. I’m sorry for your loss.
I hope you have had some good fortune in the past years to offset your sadness.
Cheers! (are still available)

Kate1949; We were there on a day trip, so had to pay the full whack!

As its the tardis, I'd head back in time. I'm researching family history and going back to the early 1800s and actually seeing my ancestors might make my job a lot easier!

It would mine too at exactly the same time up to 1871. I never knew where my name had come from before my g. granddad and he was illegitimate. With DNA I have been able to go 4 generations back and now know where the name comes from but the in-between are probably the DNA matches I am getting that make no sense. It's very frustrating.confused

I’d go back to Stirling. The kilties would still be in the Castle, my grandmother would still be alive & well - oh and I’d be slim enough to squeeze through the railings to get into the King’s Knot. I’d love to meet my mother’s grandparents, but my own grandmother would be enough to burst my heart wide open.
