These are bringing back memories. My aunt used to have Sophistocat perfume- I think it was Yardley, and the bottles were held by fuzzy cats, which she would give me when the bottle was nearly empty. I loved them - the smell of Lily of the valley and the velvety black cats - I thought I was so grown up with them on my dressing table.
I like 4711, but haven’t smelt it for years. I remember hint of a tint. It didn’t work very well, but I was allowed to use it when I was 14 or so, and thought I was the bee’s knees. There was a blow dry setting lotion that I loved in the 70s too. I can’t remember the name, but I would recognise the smell immediately, along with peach kernel shampoo.
I also loved bath pearls - squishy balls with oil inside. They came in tubes, and I sometimes got them for Christmas instead of bath cubes - they were a million times nicer.
