Good morning everyone, a dry start here on the hill in Wiltshire.
Yesterday’s GP appointment was okay-ish, awaiting hospital appointments for investigations to establish what next heart-wise.
Today is crafts, DDog has her lovely walker and this afternoon I will crack on with my great niece’s hooded jacket, two sleeves and a hood to do.
I will also do a bit of pottering out in the garden, it badly needs some talc.
Enjoy today x

Good morning from a cloudy Sarthe but feeling less cold due to the wind now being from the SW rather than the NE.

I hope you enjoy the film, Mick.

It’s good news that you’ve reached a compromise over your house sale, grandMattie. Such a relief and I hope you soon find a flat to your liking. I think I recall rates of interest once being 15% in 1973, perhaps?

Yesterday, we shopped in Bonnétable, our nearest largish town, for bird food (they’re eating vociferously currently!) and for groceries in Super U. In the agricultural supplies shop which sells the bird food, DH spoke in French (I managed the pleasantries) and as we left, the charming young man quipped, “Have a nice day!” in English! We hadn’t spoken to each other in English so our accents must be very identifiable! It gave us all a giggle.

A quiet day at home beckons. Enjoy whatever you’re planning! 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Morning Mick, morning All. Can’t give a weather report on our corner of Somerset as the curtains remain closed. Forecast is a windy, wet start. Hope not.

Enjoyed meeting a friend yesterday, it was too long since the last putting the world to right session. Out for a couple of hours with Mr C in the afternoon during which time two missed calls appeared from a hospital number. No message. I’ll try to investigate this morning before we set off for Mr C’s repeat eye test. Soup to make for lunch then admin for me in preparation for two meetings. Mr C is weary so I’ll suggest he just takes it easy.

Wow, grandmattie. That was quick. Same thing happened when we moved here. I hope you can locate a new home where you’ll be happy and comfortable. Enjoy the film mick.

Take care everyone. Hope Tuesday is kind to us all.

Good morning from a dark, chilly e Kent.
It would appear that I have a firm offer on the house, I’m instructing the local solicitor this morning! Just like that!
At the meeting with my estate agent, we agreed on the lowest price I would accept, as the recent minor subsidence is a big sticking point. The viewers who offered the unreasonably low offer upped it - one excuse was that interest rates were going upon Thursday, that too one who paid 13% on our mortgage!!!
Anyway, they made a reasonable offer and accepted my condition of completing in about 12 weeks.
Now I need to find somewhere to live.
Speaking to DS in India after breakfast to give him the extra stuff- I did let him know, of course.
Out tai chi leader can’t make it again today, so I’m taking the class again. I wonder what mischief I can get up to this time? 😂
I hope sunshine’s on you today. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
