Fringe benefits.

I'm 71 and have had a fringe since childhood too. Though I've grown it out a couple of times, I always cut it back as I have a big forehead. I had shingles years ago and have a couple of scars that look like lines but actually have virtually no wrinkles at all.
My hair is getting thinner now and I do wonder what I'll do if it gets so thin that my fringe looks ridiculous.

I would love to have a fringe but my hair is so thin now that there is nothing left at the front to make a fringe with.

My fringe looks like a bunch of grapes, it's so curly and looks ridiculous so I would definitely never have a fringe again.

I last had a fringe when I was 32. Can’t stand tickly hair on my face.

I flip flop between fringe or not, it’s annoying as it needs trimming often and I’m an every 6 months trip to the hairdresser. I’m thinking of growing it out again and clipping it back.

I have had a fringe for years too, to hide my wrinkles! But I've always wondered what is under Claudia Winkleman's. It is very long!

I spent a couple of years growing my fringe out. I’ve got very fine hair and thought the extra hair would make the rest look thicker. I was quite pleased when I managed to grow it to the same length as the rest of my hair. However, after a while I decided it was making me look a bit severe so I had the fringe cut back in and realised I looked much younger with it.

I am in the same position as you but my hairdresser has just cut me one of those really short fringes like they had in 1950s US movies. I would like a fringe like Claudia Winkelman to look mysterious.

I’ve had a fringe since my plaits were cut off at the age of twelve. I’d feel (and look) very strange without it.s
