Good Morning everyone from frosty Severnside. You’re all up and about this morning.

I’m going swimming this morning. I don’t feel like it but as I haven’t been for several weeks I should get back to it or I will be cross with myself and I did remember to cover the car windscreen in preparation.

Have a good day all and I’ll go back and read 🌺

Good morning from a frosty N Bucks. Hopefully we will get another clear blue day.
We have to gear Mother in Law to both a doctor and dental appointment today. In between we will take her to see DD3s new house and have homemade soup and bread for lunch.

Wishing you all a good day with some sunshine and smiles.

Good morning from Shropshire.A chilly misty start but sun forecast later.

I have a dental appointment this morning which I always find very stressful.I have always had a fear of going to the dentist.Just attending the appointment will exhaust me so I will probably fall asleep when I get home.

Have the best day you can everyone🦩

Nannagarra Tue 07-Feb-23 07:57:31

Good morning from bright and dry Sefton.
Roofing is complete and looks good. If anyone in Lancashire needs a firm recommendation I’m more than happy to supply it. Next week we’re having new internal doors. Meanwhile I continue to declutter - something I seem to have been doing for a very long time. Do items multiply when I turn my back? That must be the case.
Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning all and yes it’s frosty and Misty here is Essex.

Yesterday was a beautiful day and warm in the sun. Dh went fishing and enjoyed it. I walked up to town and got lots of this and that!

My painting by numbers has arrived and oh my goodness I will need a magnifying glass to see the numbers and it will take me heaven knows how long to complete. 😢. I think this will have to be a family effort. Little gd’s set look a bit easier but not much. 😤. I read all the reviews and took my time choosing but …… never mind!

Today I have Bridge club. We have to be there earlier to watch a video of the standard ‘rules’. Things have got a little lax and too much fun and laughter is being had 🤭😂.

Have a good day ! 🤞

Good morning from a frosty Black country-3°.
Yesterday turned out lovely and sunny, washing dried and I spent a couple of hours tidying the garden.
Today I have a dental check up.
Curry in slow cooker for tea.
Enjoy your Tuesday whatever your plans and may you all find some ☀️.

Gwenisgreat1 Tue 07-Feb-23 07:59:13

Oops it went too soon. That is church!
Have the best day possible folks

Good morning all, from a cloudy Glasgow, where it's 7°C. Fancythat, I use Alexa for the weather, too much of an effort to get out of bed, (stiff joints) to look out. She is very obliging.
I've noticed you on other threads, but not here, so welcome.

Mick, I hope you got the confusion over the pre-op assessment sorted yesterday.

Baubles and Corner, Fingers crossed, you get some clarification. I always find those types of call very unsettling Baubles.
It's good for the specialists to have a look. My GP had misinterpreted my blood results, which is partly why I ended up in hospital.

I've had a very restless night, dreaming I was back at school, after retiring, due ill health. The boss kept giving me the cold shoulder, because she didn't want me there. sad It was horrible!

Today, I'm doing nothing. Yesterday, I felt reasonably well, when I got up, but my BP and heart rate went sky high and the dizziness returned. I eventually fell asleep for two hours.
It was absolutely nothing to do with *Mr MD's decorating efforts, 😉 it will just take time, before things settle.
I asked him to leave it, until I felt better, but we have a family celebration here on Saturday and he insisted on doing it.
For the first time ever, I have capitulated, the ladies of the family, DĎ and DiLs will be doing the catering.
I shall sit in my chair and pretend to be the queen. For how long, do you think I will manage that?. 😉

Best wishes to all, who are poorly, enjoy your day folks.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
A tropical 6° here and quiet.
I daren't risk planting seeds yet except perhaps wild flowers.
A zoom meeting this morning and I'm doing a shift at the community store this afternoon.

Enjoy your swim Beechnut it's not wild swimming is it? grin
Sorry you have a new worry Baubles

I used to call myself Cinders fancythat I hope the Ball goes well and Prince Charming behaves well or do you turn onto a pumpkin at midnight?

I posted some money to the Turkish earthquake disaster teams but feel helpless.

Take care in the ice those in the South.

Grammaretto Tue 07-Feb-23 08:07:37

Here's the view from my bedroom window

Beechnut Tue 07-Feb-23 08:12:31

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s grey and cloudy, no frost though as it’s about 6º and we’ve rain forecast for later
We’ll be helping DD2 with the after school activities this evening and taking DGD to her dance and choir classes. As the choir class is quite close to our house she’s asked to come back here tonight for a sleepover - of course I said yes!
Hope the dentist appt goes ok Susan never enjoyable - hope you get a rest later
Hoping everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Jaxjacky Tue 07-Feb-23 08:16:14

Morning from -2, clear and frosty in S Hampshire. I had a rude client on my volunteer phone yesterday, unusual, most people are very grateful. MrJ has three more nurse visits for now, just hoping the infection stays away.
Bills to pay today, deliberate what to eat tonight and ring my brother.
Enjoy your day 🦩🦩

Grammaretto Tue 07-Feb-23 08:21:11

Sorry you had a poor night Marydoll.
I hope you can enjoy the company this weekend and being spoiled. Sending hugs

GrannySomerset Tue 07-Feb-23 08:24:41

Very frosty and misty this morning and I am glad to have no plans apart from bed changing and not getting under the feet of my wonderful cleaner. After a busy day yesterday I am quite glad not to have too much on the agenda but there is always a little job if I feel so moved. Spring feels quite a long way off while it is so cold and the garden seems to have become stuck in winter mode, but if the mist clears it will seem quite different.

dragonfly46 Tue 07-Feb-23 08:26:12

Good morning from a very frosty Essex.
We had clear deep blue skies yesterday so hoping for the same today.

Not much planned today apart from dog walking.

Alygran Tue 07-Feb-23 08:32:58

Good morning from North Yorkshire. Another bright dry day after a lovely sunrise.
I need to pop to town this morning. My walking shoes are at the menders for some stitching.
After that exercise and charity admin.
Have a good day everyone.

NannyJan53 Tue 07-Feb-23 08:44:58

Good morning from a very frosty Black Country, but now very sunny with bright blues sky! Very cold though.

MrJ is 72 today, so I will treat him to lunch out, and we are going out Friday evening for a meal. I have booked 2 concerts at Symphony Hall Birmingham for his present as he doesn’t need any more ‘stuff’ smile

Welcome fancythat always good to see new people on this thread.

Wishing you all an enjoyable day.

BlueSapphire Tue 07-Feb-23 08:45:29

Good morning everyone from another bright and frosty morning in Northampton. 0° outside at the moment. Have to get my skates on this morning for a dental appointment; I realised yesterday afternoon that I had lost a front filling, rang the surgery, and they offered me an appointment today!

First I have the towels to hang out, and a Bolognese to prepare for the slow cooker, then I will be off to get the bus or it will a half hour walk to the village surgery - the bus takes 3 minutes! Will probably walk home.

Home for a quick lunch then out again for my health walk.

No sign of my missing necklace; I checked in both Next and M&S Food yesterday, without success. I have resigned myself to never seeing it again. I could kick myself for wearing it every day and not keeping it for best...... Next place to look is the bin of grass cuttings, just in case.

Just taken paracetamol for my painful back, which has not been right since I tripped and fell nearly 4 weeks ago. Finding it difficult now if I have to pick things up from the floor, like the papers from the front doormat.

Must rush, have a good day everyone.

luluaugust Tue 07-Feb-23 08:47:50

Good morning from a misty W Kent, sun just beginning to try and come through. Yesterday’s funeral went off well around 30 of us, a very simple service.
Today I have my DF who worries a lot coming for a cup of tea otherwise I need to catch up on what I didn’t get done yesterday.
Best wishes all round

Wyllow3 Tue 07-Feb-23 08:55:49

Good Morning from a chilly but sunny S Yorks.

Lots of dental appointments today you all - all the best with that, and appointments and results.

I want to go to the gym as missed yesterday - natters as much as my yoga. Counselling Zoom and then a delivery this afternoon.

Bests with DGC and friends and take care those who need to tale it easy.

EkwaNimitee Tue 07-Feb-23 09:03:37

Good morning Mick and everyone from grey, gloomy and damp Carlisle where it is currently 6C.
I didn't get to sleep till around 2am, why I know not. All my usual tricks, breathing exercises and listening to the radio just did not work. I woke up at my usual time and got up-I can't lie in-and consequently feel washed out. A planned day trip is cancelled, maybe tomorrow instead.
I shall just drift through the day doing jobs as and when I feel like it. Yesterday I spent an afternoon getting on top of boring admin and felt my halo well polished afterwards. Life must have been simpler as a cavewoman?!
I've also been checking out holidays, time to get on and book a short trip.

Do have a good day all.

karmalady Tue 07-Feb-23 09:05:32

Fancythat, I use a davies weather station outside for various weather aspects, pressure, temperature, amount tof rain etc. Lowest this morning was -3. My neighbour brought his weather station with him, exactly the same as mine but he climbed up a long ladder and his is very high up

For a rough idea I use met weather or alexa

Urmstongran Tue 07-Feb-23 09:09:41

Here’s Matt.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s a gorgeous sunny day ahead again. Lucky us. I’m meeting 2 friends from our book club and we are getting the 13:50hrs train from over the road into Manchester for a 14:15hr showing of ‘Tár’ about the Swedish concert conductor. It’s almost 3 hours long though! What is it about films this length these days? Do they feel they have to justify the £9:60 it costs for a ticket?
😁

Nearly 50 posts from you all to settle down to read now. Goody! That’s me occupied for the next hour. Happy Days!
