Good morning all from a chilly Glasgow, where it is currently 3°C. However, a sunny day is forecast, so the bed will be stripped and washing put out.
I need to phone my GP at 8am, but will probably be 100th in the queue!
I've had a dreadful night and day yesterday, with the side effects from my new meds getting progressively more severe. I'm between a rock and a hard place, as I have been advised not to stop them, without speaking to a doctor first.
For the first time in years, I can see no light at the end of tunnel. I always have hope expect things to settle down.
We have wee Dollie for a couple of hours today, due to it being half term and her mummy having to work.
That should cheer me up.
I noted some of you put your washing on at night, is it cheaper at night? Just curious.
Messages from the Scottish Fire Rescue service keep popping up on my tablet, advising not to, for safety reasons.
The house of a former pupil of mine was destroyed, when the dishwasher went on fire during the night. I've never left an appliance on overnight since. I'm now too scared.
All this talk of gardens is making me envious. I'm desperate to get out and tidy up. My strawberry plants have already come back and I need to deal with my frost damaged hydrangeas.
