Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 2° and dry. I can see air frost on the roofs of the cars. grandmattie I hope your eyes are improving. BlueBalou that's good news about your patio.
Yesterday I pottered about, made soup, ironed and cleared the bed in the front garden of dead material. It looks tidy, if a bit bare in places. It's too early for plants to poke through yet though, apart from Spanish bluebells which are everywhere I don't want them to be!
Today is childcare, hence the early post. As it's a holiday today and tomorrow,I'll have them both all day. I'll play it by ear, but we might go to the park. If not, dgs1 and I will play in the garden when dgs2 goes for a nap. Have a good day all.

Been awake since 5:15. I can wake up anytime between 5am - 9am. It’s very frustrating. DGD3 aged 4 all day today and DGS2 aged 21 months on Thursday this week. It’s impossible to have them both together as they fight. And it’s not the 4 year old who wins. The other grandparents won’t have them together either.

Tomorrow we are having the £20 M&S Valentine meal deal which is worth the money as the discount was £14 over buying the items individually.

Carpet of snowdrops in the garden and all the bulbs in pots are poking through ready for warmer days ahead, I’ve heard there may be another spell of very cold weather to come though.

Wishing everyone the best day they can have and best wishes to those under the weather or in the sick bay. 🌼🌹🌷🌸

Good morning, it’s looking dry here in Wiltshire.
Yesterday my friend’s husband, a professional gardener, came to look at my plans about a new patio. He’s giving me a quote and can do the work 👏👏. Very hopeful that it’ll be done quickly.
Today DDog has her 6 monthly regular vet check so we’ll go for a walk in the huge parkland near the vets for a change.
I need to sort out a small stretch of border sometime, and transfer some plants that are in the way of the proposed new patio.
I have plenty of knitting to get on with as well as finishing my Bargello pincushion which needs assembling. No excuses, not much oomph!

Good morning from an overcast E Kent. It’s chilly bu, with no wind, it doesn’t feel so bad.
I put a load of washing on last night in preparation for my trip tomorrow. I don’t know what happened, but it hadn’t washed. Grr.
I’ve got to get sorted today for my trip I have agreed to go for a dog walk before leaving - rather silly, but good for me as I’ll be sitting on a train for 5 hours. Need to move.
Finished the other hat for DS1. I hope she likes it - she can always give it away.
Hope that Ash and olddudders had a good journey yesterday and are now safely in Blighty. So glad that MD had a good time, though playing dead is not a good idea 😂.
A new week - pray that it will treat you gently. Carpe diem/horam 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry and looks a little milder to what it has been like most mornings early this past few weeks in brackley .
Plans I have an item from John Lewis to pick from local Waitrose which I will do early.
I plan to bus to Bicester , just to see whether with more walking I am improving , but the weather holds the key if its cold.
Take Care,
Mick
