Hello everyone, I realized after I signed up for this website it was mostly with women in mind, hahaha! blush Anyways, my wife is turning 60 in April and I would like to celebrate her day with a special trip. I am not planning to spend a fortune (not that I have it) but would like to take her somewhere nice and memorable. I am in Florida. Any suggestions?

A sunrise hot-air balloon trip followed by a champagne breakfast?

I see you are in the US. Just don’t overfly any strategic points without a parachute

No ideas at all but welcome to this forum and have a lovely day.
Perhaps plan something that you would also like to do
For my 60th we had a family and friends garden party which DH and DC organised. We even got good weather.

Welcome to the forum!

We really enjoyed a family kayak trip along our local river followed by a picnic in the garden for one of my birthdays.

In Florida you could up that to an illuminated evening trip in a glass-bottomed kayak in the sea! Dinner afterwards?

Take her somewhere that has especial significance to you as a couple- first date? wedding? first home? - than add the fancy lunch/ dinner.

You know your wife Peter, does she like getting dressed up and going to a lovely restaurant and the theatre with champagne etc. Me I would like a day out with a meal involved somewhere, it would be by the sea, nice boat trip and walking on the sand. Then at dusk have a vino or two overlooking the sea. I’m easy to please.

That is what my children gave me for my 60th. It was brilliant.

DD did that for DH's birthday (he was a bit older!).
