Each day I try to write three things in my gratitude diary that I am truly grateful for, even if down in the dumps or disappointed with something.
What three things would you put in your diary for today?
Mine:-
Went along to music club although tired with a bad back.
Daughter had a big promotion.
Her health scare was unfounded.

Did my dark wash AND hung it out to dry.

I walked for an hour in the lovely sunshine.

1. I lost my card wallet - it wasn't in my bag when I went to pay at the supermarket - but thankfully the lady stall-holder in the farmer's market where I had been before had found it and kept it for me.

2.I did my walk today and it didn't rain.

3. I have high bids on something I am selling on ebay!

My SI joint problem is almost fully resolved.
The days are getting significantly longer.
A whole little gem lettuce plus 100g cucumber is less than 30kcal. (Good to know on a fasting day!)

I am grateful for my lovely music pupils and the progress they make.
I am grateful for my modern hearing aids that allow me to connect to my mobile phone and zoom meetings via Bluetooth.
I am grateful that my husband is very understanding and supportive of my chronic fatigue at this time. One day I will recover.

I am grateful that I live in a country that is not at war,
that I have enough and I have loving and supportive friendships

Being able to bake a beautiful cake in a lovely kitchen. Meeting daughters and grandchildren for lunch and having a wonderful husband who works so hard to make our home a nice place to live in.

I'm still breathing
Beloved is still breathing
Youngest grandson, with Spina Bifida, is learning to walk

1. Had a lovely chat with my sister.
2. Had an equally lovely chat with my youngest.
3. My very under the weather dog wanted lots of cuddles which I was happy to provide. (He's got a loose tooth and, as was discovered when I took him in to see about it, possibly cancerous lesions at the back of his throat. Every day with him is a blessing at the moment. Not so grateful for the 6 week wait before the vet can operate, or the truly appalling cost of treatment. Because it's classed as dental, insurance won't pay out. angry £1,500 and rising, so far.)

Hmm, got norovirus so not feeling very grateful.

Oh, but I can still run fast enough to reach the toilet pan in time. There we are!

Amalegra Sat 25-Feb-23 12:28:48

Son came over for breakfast and a catch up this morning.
No sickness this morning (no I’m not pregnant, just icky sometimes!)
Looking forward to Sunday’s trip to the carboot sale with my daughter and her family (and to the roast dinner later!).
