Katie Price has had her 16th boob job, she looks ridiculous.
Is it right that any surgeon does this without psychiatric reports?

BlueBelle Fri 24-Feb-23 07:59:49

Well the surgeons can’t be struck off if she is going overseas for her procedures and maybe she’s doing the rounds and going to different ones who don’t know her history I m pretty sure there wouldn’t be a British surgeon who would chance his career
I feel very sorry for her but I also wonder where all her money comes from these procedures are very expensive She has done a number of documentaries so perhaps they ve been more lucrative that we all thought

Allsorts Fri 24-Feb-23 07:49:11

Thought Katie was bankrupt, but there us always a young man with her on these jaunts for a holiday. Where us she getting the money from.
These surgeons are despicable, she looks dreadful, two huge plastic balls where breasts should be. They should be struck off. She is obviously not mentally well, these men and surgeons are guilty of her having these damaging procedures, who really cares for her? I think these procedures give her the attention she craves. It's very sad really, she must be really unhappy despite the fake smiles.

TerriBull Thu 23-Feb-23 11:32:07

I think I read somewhere the surgeon who did her first breast enlargement in the UK, did advise her along the lines "it isn't advisable to have this procedure again and again" obviously fell on deaf ears.

I also think she must have Body Dysmorphic Condition..poor her... I can only feel compassion for her..

To be honest I don’t feel it is any of my business what Ms Price does to her body, but I do think that the poor soul has mental health issues, and so would trust doctors to recognise this fact and seek to help her. However there will always be someone who is willing to exploit such people, and it is those whom I look on with disdain.

Exactly, the OP's question is not about her choosing to do this, it is about the doctors who go along with it, and make lots of money on the back (front) of vulnerable women like this- probably (surely) suffering from mental health issues, just as serious as alcohol issues.

Totally agree Whitewavemark2 KP has in the past gone abroad for her surgery, I do not think a U.K. clinic/surgeon would be allowed to insert 2120C implants.

I think she looks dreadful - grotesque. I wonder what her children think of it?

Galaxy Thu 23-Feb-23 10:49:34

I am not a great believer in choicey choice feminism, there was a brilliant article about it once which I can never find. It talked about the illusion of choice and how certain groups have very different choices available to them than others.

I couldn’t resist googling after reading this. I couldn’t believe how awful she looks. Absolutely grotesque.

Despite my better judgement I have also just Googled Katie Price.

The first image that came up was one of her in a pool in Thailand wearing a green bikini.

Apparently she now wants to have the biggest breast in the U.K. it’s how she earns her living, her choice.

It would not be a road I would like to travel or any of my female friends and family, but I would not like to live in a world where it was prohibited either.

M0nica Thu 23-Feb-23 10:30:53

I think she suffers from body dysmorphia. her body was her USP, it made her career and that is all she has. I think her childhood was difficult and her choice in men seems to be unerringly bad. Her body is all she has. I think she is mentally living on the edge.

I feel truly and deeply sorry for her.

I didn’t think I could be shocked by Katie Price anymore but I have just seen the pictures of her in Thailand and she really does look grotesque. Her poor mum, who’s terminally ill, must despair at what her daughter’s become. Katie is something of a tragedy really and I do wonder what Peter Andre thinks as I believe there was genuine love there once.

I agree with you there.
A good looking girl now a travesty of a woman as are many who go down that route.Less is more!

BlueBelle Wed 22-Feb-23 19:58:43

I think most of KP s surgeries have been done overseas haven’t they ?

Deedaa Wed 22-Feb-23 19:52:30

I've seen several pictures of women with horrendous breast or bum enlargements who all say that they have gone abroad because British surgeons refuse to do what they want.

karmalady Wed 22-Feb-23 19:51:25

I know a physio who has turned to doing so called aesthetics and has taken a short course on injecting fillers, botox, botulinum and now B12 , in fact she sold her soul. It is all about money and common knowledge that people get hooked and get to a stage of no turning back. To be different they get to a KP stage. There are so many walking around with plastic faces and plastic boobs

Anyone with any medical qualification who is exploiting others has turned their back on `do no harm`

Galaxy Wed 22-Feb-23 19:50:43

I think that some surgeons are not 'doing no harm', there are numerous examples of this. I dont really know how it could be regulated though.

Fleurpepper Wed 22-Feb-23 19:46:28

Just can't believe how flexible and changeable some concepts are. Mental health - or under-age grooming.

Fleurpepper Wed 22-Feb-23 19:44:29

'Body dysmorphia is a recognised mental health condition'

so back to OP's question, about surgeon (taking advantage and making loads of money on the back of mentally ill patients).

ExperiencedNotOld Wed 22-Feb-23 19:37:51

My daughter, when around 15, went through a bit of an obsession with Jordan (as she was commonly known then) as she appeared to be in control and taking what she wanted from life.
She’s here with me now and I asked what she thinks of KP 15 years later. She says she’s a sad figure and probably very lonely. How times change.

BlueBelle Wed 22-Feb-23 19:24:53

Poor lady she must be so insecure to want to put herself through all that Who can bear to have an unnecessary operations well guess they re not unnecessary to her

Body dysmorphia is a recognised mental health condition

Silvergirl Wed 22-Feb-23 18:51:02

I thought part of a doctor or surgeon's oath was to “do no harm”. I don’t know how these grotesque operations and procedures measure up to that requirement.

sodapop Wed 22-Feb-23 18:41:00

LOUISA1523

Adults with capacity have the right to make unwise decisions ( mental capacity act)

Exactly right LOUISA1523* Although of course one may question the ethics of the surgeon.

nanaK54 Wed 22-Feb-23 18:17:27

It's all so very sad

Shelflife Wed 22-Feb-23 18:16:34

It is her choice , but surgeons should definitely say No!! Just seen the pictures , she looks ridiculous. Clearly she is ill and surgeons should not benefit from her insecurities. She needs help .
