Quiet day in yesterday, I managed to get some Jersey Royals locally .
Today , bus to Bicester only returning home for lunch, then an easy afternoon .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from south Manchester. Its a damp and murky day here as usual. Been up since 7am working on my online business picking stock and doing admin. I will be going to open the gate soon as my cleaner is due and I have to have lunch.

I will be going up for a nap about 4 pm.

Good morning everyone. It looks like we’re in for a few rain showers in Lancashire today. It’s feeling warmer at 12°C.

Today I have to tackle cleaning the oven as it needs a service and I can’t for shame call an engineer while it’s in it’s present state!

Have a good day all 🦩

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
Check up with nurse at docs seemed ok yesterday, blood pressure as usual on the highish side and bloods taken. Then to lunchtime classical concert with virtuoso violinist. About 200 people turned up on a horrible windy cold day.

Today bills, letters etc then to a play at our local drama society tonight.
Very sorry to hear of local lad Paul 0’Grady’s passing yesterday,
67 is no age.

Fab photo Taichinan and thoughts to Gingster and her DD also Shel69 and anyone with worries.

Good morning from Essex by the sea. The sun was out but it has now clouded over.
We are looking after 5 year old twins and their 8 year old brother this evening whilst their mum goes out. Their dad is away skiing. Lets hope they go to bed without any problems. Confidence is not high.
Have a happy day everyone xx

Good morning all from a milder, brighter Glasgow. Could be a promising day🤞

Trim and blow dry today. I think it’s safe enough to put away heavier winter clothes and launder some lighter weight pieces. What a lovely thought not to have to pull on so many layers.
Fabulous photos of your talented DG Taichinan.
Hoping all goes well at the NV Marydoll and for your DiL too. Thinking the straightest route for your DH would be, head for Darnley - Pollockshaws - Shawlands - Langside. Sat Nav may be an easier option of course.
Pleased to hear people are pulling together to help your DD Gingster. I wish her all the best going forward.

Best wishes to all for a good day.

Morning from a sunny S Yorks

I love hearing from all around the country!

Not a lot on today as I’m packing to go see my family tomorrow in Co Durham. Alas it will be rain rain rain there nearly all the weekend, maybe it will be a visit to soft play centre. Every time I go I'm weighing up, do I want to go and live close to them. Dilemma!

You have had a tough time Shel69 glad to hear of light at end of tunnel. I’d go with the taxi *Marydoll, we have a hospital like that huge and bad car parking.

Enjoy your outings GN’s and bests for poorlies.

luluaugust Thu 30-Mar-23 09:16:11

Good morning from a grey W Kent. Thank you for your good wishes to Mrluluaugust yesterday. Despite rain and mist we managed to get out and enjoy a walk and light lunch at Ightham Mote (NT) and then had a meal with the family in the evening so he now feels he is well and truly 80. Back to real life today and has to phone GP for test results and I am off to art group.
Good luck Marydoll
Very best wishes to all.

Good morning Mick and everyone from Carlisle where it is still deciding whether to brighten up or not. It was raining when I got up.
Yesterday was quietish as I paced myself gently through tasks as I am plagued with yet another infection. Trying to think positive this morning, which means I WILL get on with the ironing!
I'm a bit envious of your GD's grace and agility, Taichinan, that was never me, then or ever!

I hope you all get the best day possible.

Stilllearning Thu 30-Mar-23 09:05:49

Another good morning from S Lanarkshire.

Wonderful photographs Taichinan! How talented your DGD is.

As usual just now I’m in a bit of a rush, I must try to post earlier and read later and see if that helps!

A nice catch up with two friends for lunch and a drop in visit to DD who works shifts which makes contact difficult sometimes, is todays plan. I dragged out ‘stuff’ from under my bed yesterday and, with great difficulty, cleared and cleaned and hoovered as best I could and definitely feel I deserve a reward today!

Wishing everyone a good day🦩

GrannySomerset Thu 30-Mar-23 08:52:48

Really busy day ahead but all good stuff - U3A book group, facial, binning grotty stuff from the church children’s corner to make space for the new furniture, and tea and gossip with friends. Will need a rest after so much talking!

Hope Marydoll’s hospital visit is incident free, that the various GC bring joy and are not too exhausting, and that a satisfactory day unfolds for everyone.

baubles Thu 30-Mar-23 08:39:08

Good morning all from damp South Lanarkshire.

I’ve woken with a headache which isn’t a good start to my childminding day. However I’m sure my usual painkillers will see it off.

Fabulous photos Taichinan!

Good luck with your appointment Marydoll.

I’d better get a wriggle on and get everything ready to go.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Marydoll Thu 30-Mar-23 08:37:19

Gwen it is. Totally out my comfort zone and the most stressful drive ever! Bus lanes and roadworks. Poor DH is in a tizzy.

Alygran Thu 30-Mar-23 08:35:19

Good morning from North Yorkshire. We’ve had lots of rain overnight, good for my recently fed lawn!
Off to the dentist for a check up then meeting a friend for a walk.
Lovely pictures this morning. Hope all the appointments go well.
Have a good day everyone.

grandMattie Thu 30-Mar-23 08:32:09

Lovely photo, taichi.
Hope all goes well, Marydoll.

Jaxjacky Thu 30-Mar-23 08:30:10

Morning from a damp S Hants, more rain on the way. Incredible pictures Taichinan, what a star.
Bluebalou the Crown Inn at Upper Loders is a great place to eat, near Bridport.
A faffing day yesterday, some of it in the greenhouse, similar today with some admin and phone calls.
Enjoy your day 🦩🦩

brook2704 Thu 30-Mar-23 08:18:37

Stunning photos of your very talented DGD taichinan well done to her, you must be very proud 👏

Grammaretto Thu 30-Mar-23 08:15:11

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. That wet weather front is determined to stay.

Maybe call a taxi another time Marydoll? I had to one time and what peace. Also we were left at the door instead of the far end of the carpark.
All the best for today
She169 that is some day you have planned. I hope your DH makes a full recovery.

I heard a dear friend died at the weekend. I hadn't seen her for ages . She had dementia for the last few years.
A very special lady.
Yoga for me today and some craft work later.
Hope the day goes well wherever you are

Gwenisgreat1 Thu 30-Mar-23 08:06:21

Good morning all from bright Harrogate
Your photo is lovely Nankate.
That’s a bit ridiculous Grandmattie not keeping you informed. Good luck.
Marydoll I hope you appointment goes well, I take it you are going to the new Victoria hosp in Langside?
My afternoon tea went well, must do it again sometime. Today is my DGDs 7th birthday. I’d forgotten to buy her a birthday card so ordered one from Sainsburies being delivered today. I’ve just learned they didn’t have it so they are substituting it with an Easter card!!
I’ll go into town and get one!
Have the best day possible folks

Taichinan Thu 30-Mar-23 08:05:23

And the comment about the DH was for Shel69!

BlueSapphire Thu 30-Mar-23 08:04:47

Good morning everyone from a bright Northampton, 10° out at the moment and the dizzy heights of 16° forecast for later. Thank goodness for that, as I am having a cut and blow-dry at lunch time. I came back from holiday desperate for a haircut although my next appointment is not due for another three weeks. Luckily a free slot was available today - can't have my colour done, but it's the cut I really need.

Had a good book club yesterday with delicious home made cake from one of our members - Irish Whiskey coffee cake, very very yummy. We didn't talk a lot about the book......
Made a huge chicken casserole in the pressure cooker when I got back; enough for three meals. Had one last night, will have a second portion tonight and the third will go in the freezer. Still got a breast left to slice for sandwiches for lunch.

LLFL, hope you enjoy your Danube cruise; I did one the year before lockdown. We flew to Prague for a few days, then joined the boat in Nuremburg for a cruise to Budapest, I very much enjoyed it.

No dance classes today as I shall be having my hair done, must WhatsApp my dance teacher to let her know.

Now to make my mug of tea, as I took my weekly alendronic tablet at 7.30, and needed to wait half an hour.

Best wishes for those with hospital appointments today, and happy Thursday to all.

brook2704 Thu 30-Mar-23 08:04:44

Good morning everyone from Inverness where the sun is trying to peep through and it might just be a sunny day
Hoping all goes well at your appointment today marydoll and for your DiL too
The flowers are lovely multi hope you get a good display again this year
I’m feeling a bit better with slightly more energy today so I think it might just enjoy a short walk around the garden to see what’s happening. With holidays and then covid it’s been a bit neglected so there’s probably lots waiting to be done
Enjoy a very well deserved rest today grandmabatty and hope the dentist is ok
Hoping your DH is on the mend soon Shel69
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Taichinan Thu 30-Mar-23 08:03:06

Sorry - I forgot to proof read!

monk08 Thu 30-Mar-23 08:01:36

Good morning all from a damp Black country.
Welcome back NannyJ we are off early Saturday morning just hope DH cough improves.
We need to collect the boys from child minder and school then we will have tea at theirs.
Hope all hospital visits go well and any poorlies are improving.
Enjoy your Thursday whatever your plans and may you all find some ☀️.

Taichinan Thu 30-Mar-23 08:01:28

Good morning all. The sun is desperately trying to burn through the must this morning but so far the must is winning. Visibility at the momentum is only about a couple of hundred yards.
I have attached a couple of photos of Dancing GD - she has a whole string of them for her portfolio.
Yesterday was a stay at home day, courtesy of the weather but today it's tai chi followed by taking my friend up country where we shall go for lunch at our favourite place - I've warned her I shall still be in my tai chi togs as I won't have time to go home first.
So sorry to hear about your DH - I hope that light at the end of the tunnel continues to shine ever brighter. Where you live sounds lovely.
Marydoll I hope your hospital visit goes well.
Not the best of beach weather bluebalou but you seem to be enjoying your break.
The sun here has lost its battle against the mist so I shall just go and get on and ignore it. Have a lovely day everyone x

karmalady Thu 30-Mar-23 07:58:16

Shel69 flowers you are one strong woman. All the best to you
