Thunder and Lightning (very, very frightening)! 🌩️

Merseyside it’s been torrential rain and a black sky.

Rained all morning but now sunny on the south coast.

Heavy rain showers with intermittent sunny spells here

we had horizontal rain about half an hour ago, t's a bit of a shame as it has been really quite pleasant the last few days

North Manchester /Bright about 7 am, bit of rain at 9. By mid day we had thunder and now we have torrential rain. Lovely. I’ve put the gas fire on to cheer us up (3 dogs here)

Here in S.W Scotland we had glorious sunshine this morning, clouded over but now the sun is making another appearance but i don't think it will be long before the rain comes in.

Barrow on Soar here and we have been sitting on our glass corridor with the dgc watching it all. Fabulous.

I love thunder and lightning! None here in central Scotland. Just showers.

Heavy rain, black sky and a rumble or two of thunder here, too, now. It’s not cold, though.

Heavy rain this morning, sunshine now in Somerset. Very, very windy. Taken the blooms off the magnolia. Grrr.

Just cold and raining here in Durham. At least it’s put paid to whoever is banging, sawing and hammering nearby!

It was raining when I first crawled out of bed and we had some sun in London. Now it is dry but rain is forecast for later. Luckily my 5 machine loads dried outside yesterday.

Here in South Gloucestershire it's sunny with blue skies and a few fluffy white clouds but is getting increasingly windy with great gusts every so often.

Monsoon type down pour earlier, north east coast, stopped now but grey.

In the Central Belt for the day. A few ninja showers earlier but in general it’s sunny and breezy.

It’s a lovely sunny but a bit windy day here in Dundee. Was really warm yesterday, went to my first car-boot sale of the year, had to take my coat off and carry it. I love watching lightning, but really don’t like thunder.
