Doing my usual bus trip this morning ,always seeing faces I know and have a chat as well .
Then retrun to watch TV cycling this afternoon .
Take Care,
Mick
Good Morning Mick and everyone from a bright Hull. It’s going to stay dry.
Oops I’m sorry you are having family worries. 💐
Grandmabatty you kept popping in my thoughts yesterday as I wondered how you were. I’m pleased you are feeling better💐
Your pics have been lovely from your cruise Ash.
Today I am picking up Little B from nursery at lunchtime as DD has a home study day. She will pick up GD1 from pre school afterwards and bring her to ours and they will all have dinner. DH is cooking a halibut Thai curry. Little B is easy to entertain and with it being dry i can take her to the park.
Have a lovely Wednesday everyone. Thoughts to those struggling with illness 🌻🌻
Grandmabatty I truly don’t know how you had the strength to look after your DGS’s feeling so unwell yourself. That’s heroic. That would have been a resounding no from me. I don’t mind looking after the smalls when I or they have a cold but I always catch Noravirus if I’m in proximity and always feel horribly ill with it.
Happy birthday ladylfl. You’re having quite a celebration.
Good morning all and it’s a bit grey here on the Suffolk coast. The sea was so loud last night, but I love to hear it from my cosy bed. 🌊
We didn’t venture far yesterday as the rain clouds hovered over us . We went to Aldeburgh but it was damp and the ice cream parlour was closed 😤. So little pooch had a run on the beach and we came home.
I’m desperately trying to finish my ‘book club’ book. I recommended it but struggled, so I started again and got into it.
The meeting is tomorrow evening so I must set aside a couple of hours today .
GG enjoy your pootle . It’s market day and there’s usually quite a buzz. If you fancy coffee and cake, the church should be open. £2 . 👍. Last week it was very busy and someone was playing jolly tunes on a keyboard. They are very welcoming.
The skate wings from the mobile fish man are delish.
Happy birthday Llf have a fun packed day 🥳🎂🎁🎈
Sar I’m glad you got to speak to the nurse. Hopefully this course will see off that cough. 🤞.
Oops hope things improve for you and the family 🙏
susan good luck with the exray 🙏
Marydoll take it easy . 💐.
Take care all. 🌷
Happy Birthday LLFL. Have a good one!
Good morning from a dull but dry Sefton.
Zoom exercise class first thing followed by Pilates but as I have woken with an horrendous tickly cough & have lost my voice (some might see that as a good thing 😷) I'm not sure my plans for the day will pan out. Supposed to be on babysitting duties this evening as well... oh dear. Hoping it will clear up as the day progresses🤞.
Take care all.
Happy birthday llfl have a wonderful day

Good morning from a sunny NE where it is 5 degrees.
I am having my covid booster this morning and then going shopping with SIL.
There are one or two jobs need doing in the garden, let's hope that the rain holds off.
Have the best day you can.
Good morning from a dry bright Northampton; I may look for some washing!
Had a lovely day out at the Sky Gardens, in London, on the top of a 35 floor skyscraper. I expected more in the way of gardens but the views were stunning and I enjoyed my prosecco!
A morning of pottering, cleaning the en-suite, and general tidying. Then book club this afternoon, where we will be discussing Charles Dickens' Hard Times.
Happy birthday llfl, have a lovely day.
Happy memories of my shipboard visit to Bordeaux last yeat, Ash.
Have a good day everyone.
Happy birthday llfl, have a wonderful day.
Good morning all from South Lanarkshire where it’s slightly cloudier than yesterday which turned out to be a glorious day.
I have poker straight hair for the first time in my life and I hate it. Apparently once it’s washed it will be more like my own hair but I’ve been told not to that for three days or I’ll wash out the keratin treatment. I’m not sure I can wait that long.
DH has a telephone appointment with his urologist to discuss the result of his MRI scan, I think he’s a little anxious about it as he’s already being pulled down by the pain in his arthritic knee. He also needs to try to contact the orthopaedic surgeon’s secretary with a view to getting on the list for a replacement but she hasn’t been at her desk this week. This getting old lark isn’t going so well at the moment.
Anyhoo I have nothing planned for today other than dog walks.
Have the best day possible everyone.
Happy Birthday llfl 🥂🎂🎉
Has that restaurant got beautiful gardens and sculptures along with a veggie/salad/fruit garden which supplies it’s kitchens?
Still feels cold even though quite bright, but have only singing this afternoon to take me outside. Smart meter has stopped working and have had lengthy conversations with Ovo but in order to answer their questions need someone fitter to climb up to read the detail on the gas meter so must enlist some help. Ovo have booked an engineer to look at the gas meter but not till 22May! There is always something to worry about. I’m
Morning from an over cast but light S Yorks.
Need to get the tyres on the car checked, the local garage will do it as have my service and MOT there, and probably venture to the gym later.
Oops hope the family issues can be sorted, sounds tough: bests for poorlies and days out
Happy birthday Llfl have a wonderful day 🎂🥂💐.
Good morning from an overcast Fowey.
I enjoyed my bus trip to Charlestown yesterday and had a lovely chat with some ladies over coffee. Nearly got blown away on the harbour.
I have done quite a lot of walking and my hip is feeling it, so, I’m staying local today . I’ll watch the young and growing on the estuary and watercolour some of the sketches I have done.
Wishing a good day for all , especially those with troubles and illness.
Enjoy your special day llfl Happy Birthday 🎂🎉🎈🥂.
Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I am 70 today, which I’m getting my head around! OH went to Windsor yesterday and bought lots of beekeeping equipment - he already has the hives. The rest of us - sister, brother, his partner and me went off for a reminiscing day. We went to our childhood home and the current owner was happy to let us look around. We drove over to where our paternal grandparents used to live and had a peek. Then the church where our father is buried and finally we had lunch in Henley in a pub on the river with a couple of old friends. We are having a birthday lunch at my favourite restaurant near Oxford, with my daughter joining us from London. Did I mention the big family gathering on Sunday? My sister is going back to Australia tomorrow and my brother and his partner will set off to Devon. Have a good day.
Good morning from a dull and grey Black Country. After a gloriously sunny day yesterday.
Went with Mum for her Spring Booster Covid Jab, then lunch and a walk.
Today after the gym I need to go to the Library and print out boarding passes for next week. Also the train tickets for our train journey to the resort. We have them on our phones, but always like to have a back up! The train journey in Portugal works out at £7.50 each for a return journey of 1 hours 45 minutes! Why is it so much more expensive in the UK?
Sorry to hear of your family problems Ooops I hope a resolution is found soon. ((hugs))
Wishing you all the best day possible
Good morning from Shropshire.
A quiet day planned until I have an X-ray appointment late afternoon. This evening I am going to an event hosted by our local bookshop. It’s called Crime on the Borders and features Lisa Jewell, Louise Candlish and Clare Mackintosh.
I am glad you are feeling better Grandmabatty and Oops I hope you can find a resolution to your family problems💐
Have the best day you can everyone🦩
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. 0°C and feels like it too!
The sun is shining and I'll go to my lovely yarn group today.
I may try the new badminton group this afternoon but there's a waiting list and it doesn't sound welcoming
The sports/leisure centre is trying to be business- like so refused to allow casual booking. After 20 years or so with the old management, it's hard to feel like a stranger.
A meeting tonight for us museum volunteers.
Poor gmbatty I hope you are better.
And oops that sounds rubbish. Keep on smiling 😀 gritted teeth
Enjoy the rest of your cruise Ash and your industrious curtain making gMattie
Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s dry with fluffy clouds.
Had a very good day in the garden planting up my new area. I said hello to a blackbird who had landed on the edge of the raised bed. She promptly lifted up her tail feathers and did a poo. Thanks for that I said! 🤣
Would like to go out again today but have work that needs doing indoors so indoors it will be.
Every time I see your hump day Ash I can’t believe another week has gone by so quickly.
Have a good day all 🌺🌼
Morning from a grey Hampshire, set for the day. Sounds tricky Oops families can be.
Slowly getting there Grandmabatty take it easy.
Yesterday, sorted out upgrades for both of our mobile phones, stocked up at the farm shop and had a good walk.
Today I must book a hair cut, an appointment to get my toenails ‘summer ready’ and clean upstairs.
Enjoy your day 🦩🦩.
Good morning from a bright day in Essex by the sea.
I spoke to a Nurse Practitioner yesterday who has prescribed another round of antibiotics. I'm to see how I am in two or three days and if no better I will get to have a face to face with a doctor and maybe a chest xray. Fingers crossed 🤞.
Nothing much planned for today.
Thinking of those with worries or illness xx
