Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 10° and sunny. A welcome change. Ash were you going for a part or part of the audition team? Cornergran what a lovely weekend for everyone.
Yesterday I spent mostly in the kitchen. It passed the time as the weather wasn't good.
Happy May Day today. I'm planning on being in the garden today, just tidying up. Roast chicken later for dinner. Have a good day all.

Good morning Michael and all GNs from a rather dreary South Yorkshire and Happy May Day!
My back was killing me yesterday and I had to resort to painkillers. It feels a lot better today, so I will go for a walk later. I did manage to get some seedlings potted on before the rain came yesterday. Whitewave I am also growing bedding dahlias this year - they make such a good show.
Corner I’m glad the seaside adventure went well! You’ll miss them all. Have a safe drive home.
Have the best day you can folks!

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. Big fluffy white rabbits. I had a chat with my brother yesterday. He and his partner are enjoying their trip to Devon and are off to Cornwall today to stay with friends. I sent him a photograph I had taken of a postbox built into a wall with VR on it. This was in the next village. He was fascinated. I will be mainly doing laundry and shopping today. I will also be collecting some new bedding from Habitat via Argos who have a department in my local Sainsbury’s. I’ve always liked Habitat, although I don’t think they have actual shops anymore. Have a good day… gosh GM, you are nearly there!

Morning Mick, morning All. It seems another dry day ahead.

More sandcastle building yesterday, teenagers joining in with gusto My space commandeered I loved enjoying watching this very traditional pastime, not a phone in sight. Hooray.

They are all off home at various times today. Our Littlest will be in tears when his big cousins leave and there will be more tears when he leaves. He hates goodbyes. It’s been a magical (and miraculous!) few days with everyone happy and not an argument to be heard. It will seem very quiet this evening. We’ll get stuck into clearing up and sorting out. Will we mind? Not at all.

Wishing you well for your moving in day grandmattie.

Take care everyone. Hope Monday is kind to us all

Happy May Day to all . I'll be remembering my lovely mum today, Mayday was an important date or all the mill and factory workers with joyful celebrations, decorating the Maypole and getting dressed up to go out for the day to the sea or countryside, she loved it. Hope everyone finds a happy or joyful moment today.

Good morning from a dull South Downs , but it is May Day - the best day of the year - every season to look forward to with happy anticipation - late spring, summer and autumn - all glorious in their own way. I hope you all went out to wash your beautiful face in the early morning dew🙂.

Yesterday whilst out walking a dog fox was sat sunning himself and watching us as we walked across a field. He was quite content and relaxed, looking in really good condition which was heartening to see. All I had was some bird nuts, so I left them on a tree stump for him.

Still gardening and planting. This year I’m going to plant more dahlias, as I want bright colours. My borders have a lot of blue -Delphs, lavender, salvias, etc, and pinks roses etc , so shots of colour will be good I think. But I must remember to plant for the insects so the dahlias will be largely singles. I was looking at a photo taken on 2May in 2020 and all the roses are out - this year they are still in tight bud.

Today we are having toad in the hole which we haven’t eaten since the children grew up I think😄. Might pick one of the Duncan cabbages to eat with it and perhaps baked beans. Funny mixture.

Good morning from a dry Torbay with the possibility of sunshine later.

Yesterday I attended an audition for Dad’s Army, our summer production this year. There are some minor female rôles for the Mum's Army episode.

Later we walked over the Downs where the harr created this rather ethereal view, which reminded me of the long white clouds of New Zealand.

Enjoy May Day, whatever it brings! 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning from a dry spot in Wiltshire, hope you all have a lovely day.
Good luck with the move grandMattie, you must be so looking forward to settling down in your new home 🤗
Yesterday apart from getting the ironing done and vacuuming through I didn’t do much until a nice dog walk later with a friend. I probably overdid it on Friday as was so cold and tired by late afternoon that I lit the log burner.
Today some more bits in the garden with dh’s help and hopefully it will be done!
Looking forward to sitting and enjoying the results 😊

White rabbits 🐇🐇 from Bristol. It is overcast, but promising to max at 17C today.
Finished altering the curtains yesterday, after going to church. I took offa velvet trim all along one side of each curtain, a bit too much IMO. Quiet day otherwise. Bunnies behaved.
I’m doing a load of washing, so as to have off the line by the time the family returns around lunchtime.
Planning to go to the flat to unpack (or rather SiL to…) the fridge/freezer and switch it on, probably put the contents of my cold bag in there, + plus milk and a few bits too in readiness for my move tomorrow or Wednesday.
May you find peace, love, hope in your lives today. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩❤️🦩
