Is my washing machine cleverer than I am?

My new washing machine overides the programs that I put on and decides for itself how long it will take, the shortest program 23 minutes always takes at least half an hour!

Mine is the same as Su22 and sometimes the duvet cover is on its own in the machine and the other small pieces are in the duvet cover keeping the pillowcases company.

My machine can definitely undo knots 🤪

My clever washing machine if I don't popper up the duvet cover always seems to manage to put the pillowcases inside the duvet cover. smile

I always find it amazing that the machine is capable of turning things inside out when you know you've put it in the right way.

Today I put some washing in the machine, checked the temperature was set right and pressed the Start button. Nothing happened. I knew that I hadn't overloaded it, so pressed Start again. 'Beep' but still didn't start. I checked I had chosen the right programme and pressed button again - it paused for a few seconds and then started. Great!- so went away, came back later to take the washing out and discovered that the tissue left in the trouser pocket event had happened!
Bits of white over the whole lot and then over the lawn. I wonder if the machine had tried to warn me, but of course that's just impossible - isn't it?
