I am taking my mum to Hornsea Freeport today she wants to buy some new loose colourful summer tops. I’m hoping we can take our time have a good browse around all the shops and maybe a cuppa out but I know we will be straight there and back.

It is my granddaughter’s 7th birthday today. They have been in Ibiza for a few days and we’ll see them on Sunday.
The gardener is coming this morning.
I am having my Long Term Conditions Review this afternoon - but aren’t the nurses on strike? I have to go to the Health Centre anyway to collect OH’s medication. After last year’s LTC review I had quite a few scans (colonoscopy, CT scan, bone density scan and ultrasound) as my GP thought the blood tests had been strange. I also have a Click and Collect from Waitrose. A new nightdress. OH will be going to his shooting club tonight so I’ll watch an old Midsummer Murder! Have a good day.

Good morning everyone from a grey Northampton, but forecast to be dry, so the bedding is in the washing machine, and the bed is airing.

Spent most of yesterday in the garden, weeding before and after lunch, and managed to clear most of the borders. Then I got the chair out and sat in the sun for a couple of hours with the newspaper and a glass of wine 🍷. But I am aching so much after all the weeding, so will take it easy this morning, and shall venture out for our health walk this afternoon; it will do my muscles good.

My back is marginally better this morning - but I said that yesterday and it wasn’t! I spent most of yesterday tinkering with my laptop. It took me ages to get into the blimmin’ thing! If it wasn’t for the fact that it houses some very precious photos, I would dump it in the bin! Today I have to do some cleaning if I can stay upright.
Take it easy, Wyllow - you can’t rush these things.

We had a lovely day out and about yesterday, we walked quite a lot and it was good to get the walking boots on again. Nothing much planned this morning but later we’re picking up DGD from school and helping with the after school activities, she’ll be here for a sleepover tonight.

Good morning all and it’s very still and dull here in Essex.

Yesterday I went with my friend to the U3A meeting . Speaker was long winded, boring and just read from a script. No personality and unclear speech. Oh dear! We always say ‘never again’ but live in hope the next one will be good.

Today I have Bridge club and will enjoy the camaraderie and fun.

I had such a lovely hedonistic day yesterday, most of it outside, drinking coffee, spinning in the sun, reading my book Dunstan, and just thinking and listening to silence apart from bees. I am glad I re-strung my old lafuma, it is a delight for reading

It's another grey day on the Angus coast. Again. If I never see another grey cloud it will be too soon! Actually we did see breaks in it with the occasional patch of blue yesterday, and some sunshine, and the washing dried, so maybe ........
Must get onto the phone to the garage soon to explain the reason for my car sitting on his doorstep two days early. It was booked in for Wednesday afternoon for a new clutch, but died on me on Sunday. And then try to get a taxi to take me to tai chi - no buses up here! It's practice for when I can no longer drive I suppose.

Got full day of childcare today. Both GCs were over with their parents yesterday for tea in the garden. It was the first sunny afternoon for a week. DGS2 was very tantrum prone yesterday. He’s quite hard work compared to his sister.

Last weeks blood test went no better. Nurse forgot to do one of the tests so it had to be repeated. 3 blood tests for one request. Hmm.

Oh dear what a night.... last thing i went and twigged my back really badly (exactly same place, agony to walk) and tho I took a strong painkiller was not enough.

So I came down at 3am to make myself a very milky latte - and dropped the caftiere on the floor, smashing the glass and coffee all over so had to mop up. so more dosing up and a bit more sleep.

Last time I got some help from the physio/trainer but thinking it might be a good idea to just get an x ray to check its not structural.

If it eases a bit will swim not try anything else. I'm having a run of bad luck - CFS, bowel investigations to complete, and 3 weeks of waiting for result of MRI on a very large lump on arm which will have to come off!

Good morning from cloudy Colchester. A dry day but not as warm as yesterday.
Charity shop volunteering as it's Tuesday. We have a uniform top and fleece. It's the time of year where I carry the fleece as it's cool in the shop.

Zoom exercise class this morning if I can stop coughing long enough to participate. At least we'll all be muted so they won't have to listen to me. School pickup this afternoon as mum is away for a short break & dad has a meeting. We get to stay for tea so no cooking for me today😃.
