An unexpected pleasure

I winge a lot. So I thought I'd look on the bright side and mention a couple of nice things that have happened to me fairly recently,

The first started out badly. My car was at the mechanics and was given a glancing blow by a lorry driving past. The driver left his details on the car so I was able to pass the details on to the insurance company. As a result, the insurer paid me more than the price I'd initially paid for the car. Plus covered the cost of the child's car seat that was in the car. All was done via one 20 minute phone call. Astounding!

Then, when I found a replacement used car, I changed garages for some work I needed doing and found a great garage. Not cheap, but very honest and redid some work I wasn't happy with, without complaint.
