If someone crosses your personal boundaries, maybe you have the right to object, if they get too close to you and invade your space and make you feel uncomfortable? However, the law as it stands, is firmly on their side, rather than yours. Just being naked for the sake of being naked, is not an offence.

It can't be a pleasant experience.

In hot weather, even with cotton shorts and underwear, it begins to feel rather warm, damp and uncomfortable.

I can't imagine what a long ride with a bare backside must feel like!

Or maybe they put a towel on the seat or something similar?

But - imagine falling off the bike on a gravelly road - a couple of layers of clothing might at least prevent some very unpleasant and painful grazing.

I really do understand why some might like to feel the wind, sun and air on their skin - unclothed. But why is it necessary to do everything, anywhere, anytime, completely naked?

I assume Neil and Danielle wanted an enjoyable and relaxing holiday - and now look, they're the centre of attention and they're explaining themselves to the media, reading comments on TAdvisor and getting upset with people for not "understanding". Quite ridiculous. If you stand out from the crowd, for good or bad, you're going to get noticed! If you walk into a pub where 100% of the customers are dressed and you're naked, you will draw attention to yourselves... "as any fule kno"

We are having a weekend away on the Suffolk coast. This afternoon a man cycled down the slope wearing just a black vest. My husband said he could see his bum cheeks. Sure enough he chained his bike up and walked past us, pulled off his vest and he was totally naked.

It's surprising that some people still complain about mothers breastfeeding in public, but it's apparently OK to wave your possibly smelly bits around where others are eating.

This is very upsetting. It's indecent exposure. If it's not illegal, then it should be. There's something very wrong and disturbing about this, especially in a 'family' establishment. People get upset about women breastfeeding in public, but think this couple's actions are ok? This country is mad.

I'm unlikely to see this in the States as Americans are so prudish as to make the British look like amateurs. Being French I don't find nudity very disturbing. As for hygiene, who knows where people in pants and skirts have been sitting before they plopped down on the pub seat? I am mindful of the fact that computer keyboards have thousands more dangerous bacteria than toilet seats. People often fail to properly wash hands (for 30 seconds, with soap and warm water) after using the toilet then touch the doorknob, chair backs, table, etc.. Hands have far more bacteria than bums.

Not wanting to see a naked dude's willy whilst eating is not being a "prude".

And being British, I don't find nudity on the beach, etc, disturbing either. It seems like the perfect environment for it. Unlike a pub and restaurant.

Many years ago my husband and I and our two sons aged 2 and 6 were on a French beach when an entire naked family walked past us and sat near us. I waited with bated breath for my children’s response “That man has forgotten his trunks” said the 2 yr old loudly and disapprovingly!

We've only daughters, they'd no idea "Mum, a snake is hanging out of that man with no pants." Oh well, education on the beach.

I would like to have heard what my 8 yr old gson who has Adhd would have said ( he would not ! have held back ) if we had walked into this situation. I know for a fact he would have marched up to them and made a statement of some kind!
