Was late getting to church because the bus got held up by a badly parked truck loading screens and props to the theatre. The truck was dou ble parked, it’s not a wide street, don’t know what they were thinking! We did ask the driver if he could let us off, but No! 5 mins later he let everyone off. But myself and friend were late - I hate being late for anything, whether my fault or not. Went to check on DD2s budgies. DH and I were glad to sit in her cool sitting room put a programme for budgies on TV and read the paper in deafening noise. Today it’s catch up on the phone day

Good morning from Durham. A lovely day forecast, but no rain here yesterday.
Coffee this morning with a couple of friends, then I have a banking issue which will need a face to face to sort out, so I’ll probably do that this afternoon.
It’ll have to be tap water tonight for my tubs and baskets, but better than nothing.

Good morning from a sunny NE where it is 19 degrees already.
I had a very disturbing dream last night, every dearly departed member of my family and DH's were gathered together with top chefs and were preparing a meal supposedly in my honour.
My sister rang me yesterday and guilt tripped me about not dropping everything and going to see her. She told my other sister she felt unwanted by her family. I think the dream was a result of the conversation.
I need to get the washer on and take advantage of the good weather.
Hope Mick makes a good recovery after his op.

I felt unwell yesterday with the heat , the house is cooler this morning so I’m fine now , but DD proposed a garden visit today !

Over clouded not over crowded!

Good morning from a very humid S Yorks. My I envy those with heavy rain yesterday, it took ages to water the garden last night. As Greyduster said, just a brief rumble of thunder.

Yet the sky last night was overcrowded but peach coloured, lovely colour shades in the garden.

another not sleep well but I need to go to the gym which is are-con as I have an electrolysis appointment and need to do some physio exercises as twigged my back again yesterday.

What a lovely day with the DGD's yesterday, and the BF is a lovely lad. It rained for about 20 minutes before they arrived and then the sun came out which was perfect. The new driver enjoyed her long drive and reversed into the drive beside my car perfectly.
New Man's son's operation has been a great success and apparently he has 'grown'. He was tall to start with but the straightening of his spine has served to make him even taller!
Just a pottering sort of week ahead for me as the knee I twisted is still quite painful. No tai chi - I shall be suffering withdrawal symptoms!

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s sunny and warm. Yesterday we had a thunderstorm with torrential rain so no need to water the garden today
Hoping all goes well for mick today
I’ll be off to the gym for a dance class this morning before it gets too hot. Then a quick trip to Tesco before coming back home to DH and a potter in the garden. I’ll have to have a look at the gutters as yesterday’s thunderstorm resulted in a spectacular waterfall at the side of the house
Lovely pictures of Scone palace Grammaretto, we hope to get a trip there later this summer.

Good morning Mick and all from a warm cloudy northwest coast,
Tired after a long day in North Wales yesterday. Such amazing scenery around Snowdonia and a couple hadn’t turned up, so I sat at the front of the coach with fantastic views.
Just a trip to the post office with parcel fir DD in the south and will wash my hair.

Back to work this morning been off two weeks counting the days to the weekend!😂had lovely holiday and realise retirement when it comes will do me nicely! Lots to do at work and plenty of work done in the garden this weekend. Love this time of year sunny days and nice long evenings hope you all enjoy!
