Relocating

Greetings! I currently live in Oklahoma, on and off home since I was 12. My son, spouse, and my 3 granddaughters live in Chicago. I've been considering a move to be closer to them for the past couple of years. Looking at Milwaukee. I'm single, in good health, and still work full-time.
I'd like your thoughts on the pros and cons of relocating to be closer to them and more present/involved with my granddaughters in the coming years.

Surely there can be only pros, apart of course from the logistics of actually relocating which can be stressful/exhausting. How lovely for you all to support and help each other in the coming years. As I'm on the other side of the pond I couldn't advise on districts/areas and so forth however 20 mins driving distance seems to be the 'magic' formula here ( not too close/ not too far). Very best wishes for the future!
