Poor you, Ash, with all those train changes. I find that as I get older, I get more anxious about missing/muddling things…
Glad DGS’s performance was successful.

Good morning, it’s a dry start here too but the forecast is for rain.
We have a funeral this morning, my husband’s oldest friend, so a sad start to the week.
Then I have a long drive to do and will be away for 3 days in beautiful surroundings.
I hope the week goes well for you all 🌹

Good morning you early risers, from Bristol. It is sunny ATM but we are promised rain quite soon.
We had a few rumbles of thunder and about three minutes of rain in the late afternoon yesterday. I hope today brings a bit more.
I had a lovely lunch with my Sandwich friends yesterday. They were visiting Bath but hadn’t realised it was so close to Bristol. It was a lovely surprise to meet them. My friend has a season ticket to the British Museum and we have agreed to meet there on occasion. One bonus is that she can take a guest, free of charge! We have very similar tastes in “culcha”.
Today is going to be disruptive as I’m having the rucked carpets in both (tiny) bedrooms replaced. I have been asked to move any “fragile” items out - but qualifies as fragile? My printer? Ironing board? Sewing table?…. Curiously, the men aren’t coming until at least 10am!
For those who think I do a lot, please don’t think that. I lead a very quiet, boring life, but manage to make the mundane and pedestrian interesting!
Hugs, thoughts and prayers to the distressed, especially Urms, kalu, Marydoll and their families, and all those I have missed are included. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩

I didn't mention the weather! It's 12° and dry but cloudy.

Good morning from a sunny Rugeley where my friend will pick me up at seven to catch my train. I had hoped to catch a through train from Stafford to Torquay but it’s been cancelled! I now face two changes.

A lovely day yesterday and DGS3 excelled himself on stage, too. Lots of family members attended to see him and he was in his element.

I hope you sleep better tonight, Mick.

In haste as need to pack. Have a good week. 🦩🥰😎💐🦩

Good morning Mick and the rest of the posters to come. I'm glad you are slowly improving.
I'm up very early as dd has an office day, so I go to her house. It's fine in the summer time but not so great in pitch dark. Today the boys and I are at soft play again. I think my aunt is joining us. Then swings and garden. I'll visit mum tonight. Dinner will be Caesar salad. Have a good day all
