The school bus is back parking outside my window at 7.45 , that usually wakens me ,

Today is our final morning in Spain, we set sail for Plymouth at 1.30 today.

We have already decided to try and return next year, we will concentrate on the north more and may even look at doing the Camino, not all of it but we would like to do some stretches and walk into Santiago de Compistella.

It’s been a fabulous 3 weeks.

I will leave you with a final photo of the aqueduct in Segovia, not as good as Marydolls but it gives you the idea of this amazing and still complete Roman structure.

It’s already 20° here on the edge of the Cotswolds, I’ve been awake since 3 😡, and I have a headache so not a happy bunny either 🙄
I’m getting my hair cut first thing, DH said he’ll walk the dog early but if he’s not ready by 6.30 I’ll do it, it’s too warm otherwise.
Art group restarts this afternoon, I hope the room’s cool. It will be lovely seeing everyone again.
Yesterday I met my friend for coffee, she’s recently bereaved and my heart goes out to her. We had some laughter amid tears.
DH enjoyed his day out, but I’m not sure it went exactly to plan 🫤

Good morning from Cornwall where it's still dark but another stifling day is promised, so I need to get an early bus to my allotment to check the water level of my pond. Mick, maybe a call to your doctor would be wise?
