No it is not marvellous!

5 months coming of not being able to eat outdoors, going on trips in the warmth, going to the beach.
Yes I know you can do all these things in the rain, but no thank you.

We have forecast of sunny and around 20 degrees for next week so winter clothes can stay in the back of the wardrobe for now. We didn’t really have a summer so hopefully the weather will improve for a bit longer.

Yes Monica! Crumpets, log fire, wrapped up in my fleece dressing gown watching a good film on the TV. Beef casserole in the oven for later. I can't cope with these high temperatures and the humidity as I get older. I've always liked the winter best of all.

Yes!
Looking forward to 70s (Fahrenheit)

Noooooo! because we have to wait so long until it's here again sad although having said that, I do hate extreme heat these days.

No no no I hate winter and cold miserable days there’s nothing about the dark manky, cold days that I can like, it’s all so long till next spring / summer very very depressing
However the weather forecast for my area is another sunny warm week next week so I might have a little longer to feel happy

I am sitting in the kitchen looking out of a large window, watching th trees swaying in the breeze, with just a hint of yeloow about them.

The rain is sluicing down, I can hear it as it hits the windowpanes. and the water is dripping off next door's roof. The lawn is completely green again.

After all those windless relentless days of sun and no movement, it is lovely to see nature alive again.

Come the weekend I will start wearing winter clothes and we will stop eating salads and return to soup, sandwiches and baked potatoes.

Isn't it marvellous that summer is over!
