Waldorf Steiner Schools

Does anyone have personal experience of Waldorf Steiner education? Our son and DIL are thinking of sending their boy to a Steiner school near them. I have read a little online and they have told me about it too, but I’d be interested to know of anyone’s experience with their children or GC. I’m not looking to influence them either way/ it’s very much their decision - just interested.

I'd never heard of Steiner schools before but I rather like the sound of them now.

I was lucky: I was a happy little sausage being fed through the "normal" state education system - I learned facts easily, could cram for exams successfully, and it has suited me very well in adulthood.
I do like the idea of there being another way, one that looks on children as individuals, rather than "seen and not heard".

Out of all the different schools our girls went to and our grandchildren have/ are attending the one that stands out is the Presbyterian one. Not cheap but worth every cent.

It suited that little boy who was rather quiet and earnest, probably brought him out of himself and built his confidence.
