Lovely day here but not hot. I don't like windstorms as the last one brought some of our trees down. We are quite exposed up here.

Let’s not panic.
We had 40+ mph winds a couple of weeks ago and while some parts of the country will be wild and windy, others coukd be like here.

It's been named, storm Agnes. Worst in the North West and Scotland. Seems us in the South East will get off lightly.

I knew it was Infoman before I even looked to see who the OP was. 😉

The U.K. may not be big but our weather can be very different in different parts of the country.

The weatherman on our local TV (Yorkshire) news has just said it will be nothing more than a bit of wind and rain. Hope he’s right.
