Well done Ginny! Good to know that's over successfully - now take care and enjoy the pampering x
How to overcome the change in relationship
Good Morning Everyone,
Dark and dry start here in brackley this morning.
If the forecast is right it looks like a hot one in terms of calling it a Indian Summer .
My usual trip to Bicester , mind people I often speak to whilst there have started to venture a bit on there bus passes , in there case with bus links doing a round robin , just for a change of scenery .
Take Care,
Mick
Well done Ginny! Good to know that's over successfully - now take care and enjoy the pampering x
Hello RosiesMaw lovely to have you back with a recognisable name and with your faithful companion. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Wishing you a speedy recovery ginny, take care x
Glad all went well ginny now take things slowly.
Just popping back in to catch up, I really shouldn’t post early when my eyes are still not focused! I’m cringing at typos now.
Marydoll you are so right, I will accept any vaccine that is offered to me,
Ginny hope your hip recovers well and gives you a freedom from that pain,
Rosiesmaw good to see you here.
Good morning everyone from a wrm and sunny north Kent.
I managed to set up my new ipad mini yesterday; lots of muttering and threats but eventually it behaved itself and is now working well 🤞.
Gardening and washing this morning then DH and I have our covid vaccinations this afternoon. Will then spend the rest of the day enjoying the sunshine.
Welcome to newbies. Hope those struggling with illness and worries have as good a day as they can.
Dry, grey and windy here in Co Durham. Dh about to mow the lawns. I’m off to my exercise bike.
Glad to see you Maw. Welcome to our newbies.
I’m hoping to spend big in the Pavers store in Dundee when I’m there in two weeks time. Need to take an empty bag 😀.
Have a good day everyone.
Pleased it went well ginny go steady now.
Good morning all from Glasgow….it isn’t dry and it isn’t calm!
No idea what I will be doing today, just going with the flow and a coory doon day sounds appealing.
A warm welcome keepcalm
Have a pleasant day and kind thoughts to those with troubling times.
Take it steady Ginny. It's dull here at moment bedding on line so hope it picks up .I had my flu jab in my thigh there is a sore lump this morning !! Enjoy the sunshine those who have got it 🌞
Good morning all , it’s mind and damp but we seem to have missed the heavy rain
Very enjoyable Art class yesterday , it’s more like a club than a class , the tutor goes round with lovely hints and suggestions to each person , it’s helpful seeing other people’s work too
I have to do some work on my crochet , it gets boring and I’m itching to try out another pattern
Great to see new posters on here and welcome back old friends
Thoughts with the poorly and worried 🙏🏼🕯️💐
Poor DS has had to cancel his birthday day out, Scotrail has issued a weather warning. They had a great day out planned. 😔
Good morning. Not looking too bright here in N. Bucks but hopefully will improve.
I’m home after my hip replacement surgery. A bit bruised and uncomfortable but all went well and will improve throughout the days.
DH will do some fresh food shopping and we’ll take a short walk up the road and back , not too far. Rest of the day will be relaxing and enjoying being waited on although I m not very good at letting that happen.
Thoughts with all who are ill or recovering or dealing with troubles and worries.
Good morning Mick, Annie and all. The sun is shining, though not very strong at the moment. We have a tree surgeon coming this morning, to look at a couple if small trees that need sorting out. (DH's idea, not mine).
Then later in the afternoon, our GD will probably visit. There are scones in the freezer, and I did make a Victoria sponge the other day.
I got cooking oil on a pair of new trousers last night, and all over the floor, so must see if I can get the stain out in a wash soon. I was so cross with myself and the floor was a skating rink.
Welcome back Maw, I am another who hadn't realised that you had gone for a bit.
Best wishes to all who are poorly, and have a good day one and all.
Good morning from an overcast Sefton. No sign of an Indian summer here. At least it's dry so might put some washing on. I like to line dry as much as possible. DH has just said his weather forecast is for a sunny day later. Mine says cloud all day. Think we'll go with his!
Had a busy day yesterday. No plans for today. Will see what the day brings.
Glad to see Maw back with us. Need to get washing on so that I can take advantage of the sunshine but nothing else planned. As I have had what now counts as a busy week I really don’t mind a less than sociable day today.
Good morning from a grey NE where we had heavy overnight rain.
DS and GD2 will visit this afternoon and sister and BIL will drop by too.
Had a message from SIL yesterday to say he has covid, we reckon he probably caught it during his journey to Brussels. I am now the only person I know who has never had it.
Have a good weekend.
Good to see you back Maw. I missed your good common sense approach to most things. Good to know that Rosie is well.

Good morning from a wet Perth. We are hoping to visit a local garden centre and then antique place later but we shall see, just lovely being with DD1 and family so quite relaxed about it.
Welcome back Maw and welcome to keepcalm.
Stay cool or keep warm everyone
Morning all from a warm S E Essex, it’s meant to reach 27c here today.
A lazy day planned as we are going out to dinner in London tonight with two sons and their wives. Train there and a car booked to bring us back home. We have been to the restaurant before and the chef/owner was cooking hopefully she will be tonight.
Have a great day folks 🙋♀️🦩

Good morning all, hoping this lovely sunny weekend will bring some joy and peace to everyone. Isn't it amazing how a bit of sun makes everyone seem so much more 'smiley'. Take care everyone x
Welcome! Its always good to see new posters.
Unfortunately no chance of sun here, just more rain. We have flood alert. 😔

Good morning all from a wet Glasgow, where it's 11°C.
Nothing really to report, groundhog day again. I'm trying accept that this may be as good as it gets.
I will give the Vigil Mass a miss again and ask another sacristan to open up. No Dollie today, its DS1's birthday and Babydoll is at Center Parics with DIL's family. It will be a quiet house today, unless DD, the diva, pays a visit. 😉
Safe travels and good luck with the vaccinations, After my first two vaccinations, I was ill n bed for three weeks, with the Australian Zenica jag. The side effects were so severe, they had to be reported to the Yellow Card site (pages of forms), Later advice reported that it was not suitable for those, who are immunocompromised.
Subsequent ones (Pfizer) have all caused some side effects , but it is a no-brainer for me.
What's a couple of days in bed with a sore arm, compared to being seriously ill or dead?
I have to wait another two weeks for my eighth one, which will cover the new variant. It's at 7pm on a Saturday evening, but at a venue only five minutes away!! I'm not complaining,
I hadn't realised you had left Foxy, but welcome back! It only goes to show, that I'm not at all compos mentioned at the moment! 🤣
Susan, I hope you begin to feel better and LLFL, you are on the mend.
Hopefully you are starting to improve Oops and the steroids are helping.
Have a good day folks and hugs for all the poorlies.
Good morning from a blue sky Suffolk. It is the annual Apple and Pumpkin fair in the village this afternoon with a splendid display of pumpkins already outside the community pub. There are traditional games like ‘Splat the rat’ and ‘Welly throwing’ and pressed Apple juice from a pedal powered bicycle contraption.
Usually the windfall apples from our trees are collected for this but the muntjacs seem to have had them this year!
October is one of my two months on the church cleaning rota so I shall pop down there later this morning. If it is as hot as predicted it will be pleasant to be in the cool of its 12th century walls.
Hope there is a little sunshine for all today.
