Good morning all from Glasgow, with showers predicted.

I've been awake all night, so feel pretty grim this morning. DH is golfing and I plan to stay in bed. He keeps offering to stay at home, but he needs some time away from me to relax. Our life is on hold at the moment. I have resigned myself to this and get enjoyment from reading about all your activities and seeing your photos.

Hoping Blossoming is feeling a bit better today.

Have a good day folks.

Good morning, another beautiful day hopefully here.
We had a lovely local dog walk yesterday, watched deer and saw many squirrels (dog wasn’t amused at them taunting here!)
It was surprisingly hot by the time we got back despite leaving early on. Probably a bit too far for me but I enjoyed it.
Sitting out in the sun in the afternoon was lovely, I so love that mellow warmth.
Today more of the same but I also need to do a bit more gardening.
Have a lovely day 🌹

Good morning from a dry, dark and mild Co Durham.
No child duties today so I’m collecting my sister in law to go shopping in a nearby retail park. Need to explore M&S and Next, for clothes for our foray to Dundee in two weeks. I’ve still not lost all of the weight I gained during the various lockdowns so I need new trousers and tops. Hopefully I’ll get the shoes I need in Pavers in Dundee.
GrandMattie, I hope your bathroom job starts on time. A good few years ago a friend moved into a similar apartment and the paperwork needed for the alterations she required was mammoth!! Everything in triplicate (or so it seemed).
Hope you don’t have any reaction to your jab, Ash.
Wishing everyone with worries an easier day.

Sorry, should be Guinness!

Good morning everyone from a still dark but dry Northampton; another warm sunny day forecast; it was brilliant to sit and watch rugby yesterday afternoon in the sunshine. We had a good win. beating Doncaster 83-12. Enjoyed a welcome Guineas while watching!

Yoga this morning, then no plans for the rest of the day, Shall just potter; may sort out the hall coat cupboard, then probably read this afternoon. Should do some grdening, but I'm not in the mood... probably cut the grass tomorrow as it is garden bin collection this week.

Wishing all a lovely day in the sunshine 🌞🌞.

Good morning from Shropshire.

Yesterday was like a hot summers day with more sunshine forecast today.DH got lots done in the garden and I was able to tick a few things off my very long to do list.

I am still not feeling well but we have to visit my mum to sort a few things out.DH has said he will do all the driving.I would normally drive there and he drives home.

I hope you don’t suffer any ill effects after the vaccine Ash.I had a bad reaction to the last one which I hadn’t expected as I had no reaction to the previous ones.It has made me nervous about having this latest one.

Hope all under the weather are feeling better and that ginny is recovering well.Thoughts with all who are struggling.

Have the best day you can everyone🌺🦩

Good morning all. North Leicestershire is still dark but the forecast is good.

Not a lot going on here. We need to empty the kitchen, again, for the decorators who arrive tomorrow.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Morning all, it’s still dark here in S E Essex but the forecast is warm and sunny, yippee!

Gym first thing followed by tea and a catch up with friends. After lunch it’s flu jab time, the year has flown by 😱

I have to get reacquainted with my kitchen this evening (having been out to eat the last 3 days) and really should do more than just look at the ironing mountain.

Have a good day folks 🙋‍♀️🦩

Morning Mick, morning All from a dark, mild corner of Somerset. Sunshine due later.

Garden tamed yesterday I spent a couple of hours lying down allowing my spine to recover. Intended to read, instead slept. Oops. Mr C has asked to wander out today so we will, suspect he’d like to drive again. Good to see he can and wants to do more.

Hope you feel more like your usual self soon grandmattie, the management company sound tedious but at least a date. Hooray. One of ours spent a day with Jay Blades last year mizuma, said he was interesting and easy company.

Hope Monday is kind to us all.

Good morning from a mild but cloudy Torbay, where I arrived back safely yesterday afternoon after a very easy journey of only 50 minutes.

I have my fifth Covid vaccination this morning, just over a year since the fourth. Each time I have had a more pronounced reaction to them, usually on the following day so I’m not sure how I shall be this time. I hope the logistics of parking are better organised than they were 10 days ago for the flu vaccinations at the same venue.

I hope to get the car washed afterwards (pesky seagulls!) then attend my Move It or Lose It class after lunch.

It does sound as if the management company needs a good shake up, grandMattie. I hope your post vaccination symptoms soon subside.

How wonderful to smell cider apples, karmalady! I do enjoy your descriptions of rural life. And your family members sound like very entertaining company, Mizuna!

Thinking of those who are unwell and any of our Scottish friends suffering as a result of the flooding. 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning from a dark Cornwall. Sunny day again later. Bit too hot for me yesterday but everyone else loved it. A fun 8th birthday party with my very extended family. One younger member is a bus driver and we talked about the interesting people she sees on her routes, many of which I travel on regularly. Today will be a maintenance day with visits to the library, pharmacy etc plus a trip to my fave charity shop/café with its 50p rail.

My photographer son has an interesting job soon where he'll meet Jay Blades from The Repair Shop. Last year it was Darcey Bussell and he gets time to chat to the people he's photographing and finds it really interesting. Other than that he drives night taxis and has some hair-raising tales.

Good morning from s somerset and a nice dry day today

I had a wonderful ride yesterday, there are lots of fallen apples on the lanes, bramleys and eating apples. I could smell cider apples when going past orchards. A few dried-up mucky bits on lanes, where farmers had not cleaned up, as they legally should, caused some bumpy areas. Many fields look ready for winter and just a couple of sweetcorn fields are left. Farmers have had a bumper harvest this year

I have some jobs to do today, prep jobs for my guests, to make catering easier for me. Flu jab discomfort has gone and I had a good sleep so I feel set-up for the day ahead

Have good day

Good morning from Bristol, we are promised another sunny, summery day.
My upstairs neighbour and I had a good chinwag in the sun yesterday afternoon. So pleasant.
Still feeling under the weather, I spent the day at home, finishing the piccalilli and chutney, 30 pots in all. I need to wash and label them, the label are printed and need cutting out.
I’ve now assembled my quilt squares and am sewing them together. This is the only hand sewing involved.
Quiet day again today. I really want to finish the quilt as I’ve got a fairly busy week ahead and have another two to make.
My plumber is starting on 6 November, but the management company is still being difficult, requiring signatures, quotes, certificates of competence (which have already been sent - twice), yadda, yadda, yadda…
I hope everyone has a good start to the week. Hugs to all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩
