Happiness is often in the very ordinary. I walked for 2 hours and managed to wear the young boy out. No mean feat!!

After an unexpected warm day we have a beautiful sunset and tomorrow I am going away for 2 nights with a friend.
I am not sure I feel well enough to go but go I shall and hope the break away from home does me good and lifts my spirits.

My DD, her partner and her nearly 9 month old DD came for the afternoon yesterday. DD has had a tough 10 years or so and it really lifted my heart to see her so happy and contented with her little family. And my DGD has learnt to do "High Fives" and is now crawling...new life is such a miracle that we should truly be thankful for.

Everyone seemed very chatty in town today and then when I got home my dd sent me a photo of my GD dressed up in some bonkers Halloween gear. They believe in getting ready early! grin

The weather has been great for days.
I could happily have it carry on until Christmas personally.

I too went to a garden centre with DH and had a hot chocolate with a slice of red velvet cake. We picked up a beautiful pink cyclamen which was our free gift for this month

Great idea!
Today, I had lunch with my lovely upstairs neighbour, in a garden centre. I bought a whole load of bulbs and plants for my pots. They will look great over winter, give pleasure to the residents, then the tulips will fill me with joy in the spring.

Everywhere there is bad news be it in the world or at home, in families or within our own 4 walls, its worrying, its sad, its heartbreaking and its beyond our understanding so to lift the dark, depressing and worrying feelings we have I have decided to start an uplifting ๐Ÿ˜ƒ, happy ๐Ÿ˜ƒ, joyful ๐Ÿ˜ƒ and POSITIVE ๐Ÿ˜ƒ thread......

Toooooo much negativity ๐Ÿ˜ช everywhere we look and causes anxiety because there is nothing we can do about some situations. We need to let happy, joy and positive feelings circulate around us, hard I know, but for our OWN sanity we must grab the tiniest bit of positivity as it passes us by.

I will start..... today I have been to see a neighbour who is in a care home and we have had a right laugh and a venture down that wonderful, peaceful Memory Lane ๐Ÿ˜Š and tomorrow I am picking my 2 youngest grandchild up from school and I have bought them a Curly Whirly each ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹.
