Everywhere there is bad news be it in the world or at home, in families or within our own 4 walls, its worrying, its sad, its heartbreaking and its beyond our understanding so to lift the dark, depressing and worrying feelings we have I have decided to start an uplifting πŸ˜ƒ, happy πŸ˜ƒ, joyful πŸ˜ƒ and POSITIVE πŸ˜ƒ thread......

Toooooo much negativity πŸ˜ͺ everywhere we look and causes anxiety because there is nothing we can do about some situations. We need to let happy, joy and positive feelings circulate around us, hard I know, but for our OWN sanity we must grab the tiniest bit of positivity as it passes us by.

I will start..... today I have been to see a neighbour who is in a care home and we have had a right laugh and a venture down that wonderful, peaceful Memory Lane 😊 and tomorrow I am picking my 2 youngest grandchild up from school and I have bought them a Curly Whirly each πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹.

Such fab news Dotpocka!
This lovely thread seems a good place to share my latest happy find -Anne with an E, on Netflix . The most heart-warming adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, the young actress who plays Anne is a sheer joy to watch.
I often find my self thinking "what would Anne Shirley do" when I need motivation.
Take care , love hearing everyone's good news and thoughts.

Good news, dotpocka!

We're at the edge of the Storm Babet amber warning area and it's been wet and windy since yesterday. Just at the moment the sun has come out and the rain has stopped! 🌀

We feel very lucky compared with the poor people in Angus though sad

I whooped with glee last night, a dress that I have hand made, the third one with yet more tweaks to the pattern, the pattern is now perfect, just perfect.

My DD popped round yesterday with her youngest, 10 month old DS.
He's not walking yet, but crawls at some speed and he had me in stitches when I watched him sitting on the floor drinking some milk. He kept throwing his head back to take a swig and I told him to watch his head as the corner of the coffee table was behind him. So he proceeded to thump his little legs on the floor and in doing so turned around in circles!
It seems he does like doing this.
Also, his face was a picture when I unwrapped a Baby-Bel cheese for him, broke some off and gave him a little bit and the rest to mum to hold, but popped a whole one into my mouth! His wide eyed look said it all! smile

We have had a lovely day. We had 3 grandchildren while their mum had meetings and we are now waiting for DD2 and her family to arrive for dinner and a sleep before they jet off on holiday.

Dropped a bag off at the charity shop, was having a browse and the (stylish) assistant pointed out a mac I'd passed by, assured me it was my colour and fit- it was! Wore it today and felt great.
Hope some else enjoys my donations as much. Its a win win!

Going to my craft group this morning... which brings a smile to my face...... smile.

10 ladies sat around a table, enjoying each others company and taking pleasure in their own unique craft... fantastic.
