Good Morning Everyone,
Dark with sins of overnight rain on the ground here in brackley .
Its beginning to look as autumn is around the corner with temperatures dropping.
Todays plans I hope to get the bus to Bicester , having had a bad day yesterday.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Good morning Mick and all from a colder Sunnyside northwest coast.
Sorry you haven’t been so well Mick, it must be frustrating for you.
I’m very sad about the Israel situation too and events like this worry me as DD is cabin crew and Tel Aviv is one of her routes. Terrorism is always in my mind.
I’m actually at home today so no excuse for ignoring the housework. A new halogen heater arrived but it has to be put together and I’m scratching my head figuring it out…

All the best to WWM for the op and thoughts to Blossoming and anyone with worries of any kind🌺

Good morning from Durham where it was a chilly start at 6degrees, but with a beautiful blue sky.

My hospital appointment yesterday went well, (thank you for good wishes) and upon further investigation, I have opted for surgery, if it is deemed necessary. A trivial complaint, compared to others, who have so much more to contend with.

Today is my friend’s birthday, but she has back trouble so our lunch out has been postponed, in favour of goodies from M&S in her kitchen.

The gardener is due later and I’ll walk little dog before dark.

Hope WWM’s op goes to plan and that Mick and Marydoll have a better day.

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from coastal West Sussex. It is cloudy but dry. DH has given me his cold and it is a horrible one. I hardly slept last night so not planning to do much today.

Best wishes to Whitewavemark for your op.

Sorry you had a bad day yesterday Mick.

Marydoll, I’m glad you got to talk to an experienced GP and hope they can improve your situation 💐

Oops, sounds like things are not good for you at the moment? 💐

Also Karmalady sounding less positive than usual - more 💐

Blossoming, you are also having a harder than usual time. Hope your problems with mobility are temporary.

Off to nurse my cold and maybe read my book club book. I’ve got two weeks but I seem to have become a very slow reader.

Good morning all from a sunny, at the moment, Glasgow.

Another outing today. A visit to the dentist and the pharmacy which is 3 doors up, an exciting day ahead then.

Best wishes to all for a good day to all.

Blossoming Thu 12-Oct-23 09:52:27

Good morning Mick and all from sunny Lancashire, where it is currently 6°C and feeling chilly. The heating is on for the first time. Sorry you had a bad day Mick, hope you feel better today.

I slept like a log last night and the jab after effects seem to have gone. I was shocked though at how bad my mobility has become. There is a big roadworks outside my optician and we had to park a little way away. It was only a short distance but involved a steep cobbled passageway. I was clinging on to MrB for dear life! My glasses have been adjusted and are once again sitting in the correct place instead of halfway down my nose.

Marydoll it’s good to know your cardiologist has finally reviewed your scans and spoken to your GP. I really hope they can work out what’s going on. I too feel guilty at needing so much help from MrB, though he insists he is more than happy to look after me.

Hope Whitewavemark’s surgery goes well.

Thinking of all dealing with worries and illness, I hope we all find some comfort today 🌻🌻🌻

Good morning all from bright and very chilly Harrogate. Must get this post done before my time runs out! We are soon getting a train to Surrey so I can visit my DSis. DH is at present packing- apparently I am no good at that. Sorry to hear you weren’t well yesterday Mick hope today is better. No idea if I will be able to post while away. We, are going to visit my aging aunt tomorrow, she’s 95. Blind and deaf! I would hate that, I’d rather be put down than last that long like that.
Hope you are brighter today Marydoll and that I get a chance to read the posts!
Have the best day possible folks

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Feeling chilly but sunny. A proper Autumn day.

My Helpers are sanding and prepping the bathroom for painting. I think they found my to do list a bit of a shock so I had to explain they are not expected to do everything on my list at least not in a week!

Yoga this morning and ceilidh dancing tonight for me. The young ones will be at the pub watching the football.

I hope your blood test results help to explain why you feel so dreadful Marydoll ♥️
Good luck to WWM🍀

Thinking of all our poorlies.

I feel so sad about the Gaza/Israel situation that I'm just saying hello and that's all today. Back tomorrow with more bounce hopefully.

luluaugust Thu 12-Oct-23 09:20:21

All the best wwm and Marydoll

GrannySomerset Thu 12-Oct-23 09:15:29

Wishing Wwm well for today and hoping for some answers for Marydoll as we embark on a grey and drizzly day with a certain amount of banging - provided the new doors have arrived at the local Howdens warehouse.

I had planned to make the C cake today but lack the required glace cherries means a trip to the village shop who probably won’t have what I need. Bother!

Primrose53 Thu 12-Oct-23 09:09:25

Now the sun has come out and it’s beautiful sunshine!

Good morning from a wet Severnside. I’ve been feeling a bit gloomy like the weather so am looking forward to weekend sunshine.
I’ve a few errands to run and then do my weekly shop.
I hope all goes well for your operation Whitewave. I had mine out a good few years ago, rested up for a few days and have been fine.

All the best to you all ☔️🪷

Harris27 Thu 12-Oct-23 08:58:15

Good morning all have late start for work today. It’s turned very cold here in the NE. Have full day planned just keeping up. Have new electric car and it’s like driving a golf buggy! Hilarious moment when husband and I went to charge it thinking did we ever think we’d be driving this way back in the 70’s so funny! This was all number 1 sons doing! Love and hugs to all struggling.good luck whitewave for today.

harrigran Thu 12-Oct-23 08:55:59

Good morning from a sunny NE where it is 6 degrees.
Had a pleasant lunch with sister and BIL, the restaurant was quite close to Sainsbury's so we could carry on and do the shopping.
I sent a message to SIL, he is still very poorly with covid, he says the cat senses he is not well and rarely leaves his side.
I think I will wash some bedding.
Thoughts are with poorly people and their carers.

Primrose53 Thu 12-Oct-23 08:55:23

Had trouble waking up this morning, everso tired after a couple of late nights. Grey start here in Norfolk but not cold.

Thanks for the kind birthday messages on Monday. Today would have been my Dad’s 102nd birthday. He made it to 86.

Had my flu jab on Tues but no covid jab this time.

No idea what I am doing today as have been out every day this week. Probably cleaning and tidying. 😉

dustyangel Thu 12-Oct-23 08:52:02

Good luck with your op Whitewavemark2, I hope everything goes well and you’re back posting with us in a couple of days.

It’s clear and going to be sunny here today, the weather is supposed to change at the weekend just as DGS and his cousin go home, they’ve been very lucky. I looked out earlier and the car was missing so presume they’ve gone to get bread rolls etc for a picnic lunch somewhere. Back to the quiet life for us next week.

Liberty Thu 12-Oct-23 08:46:28

Good morning from a drizzly Suffolk where we had lots of rain last night. An early start as my car had to be at the garage for 8am for its MOT and I’m shortly leaving for my stretch class. DH will take and collect me as it is about 5 miles away.

Will read all your posts on my return and hope they indicate it’s a good day for most and a bearable one for those with worries and/ or health issues.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 12-Oct-23 08:43:31

We had our flu jabs Monday afternoon, I felt so tired Monday night and washed out all day Tuesday and Wednesday.

Sar53 Thu 12-Oct-23 08:43:13

Good morning from a very grey and damp Essex coast.

I managed to get two lots of holiday washing done yesterday but it is not drying as quickly as I would like due to the damp weather. Third lot in the machine as I type.

DH has an appointment first thing then we are going food shopping. The cupboards look a little bare.

I hope all goes well for you today Wwm.

Thinking of all with worries or troubles. I hope you can find something to brighten your day. xxx

EkwaNimitee Thu 12-Oct-23 08:32:10

Good morning Mick and everyone from Carlisle where the sky is clear and the temperature 4C.

I hope it's a better day for you Mick, it's not being a smooth road to full health for you, I guess that's normal.

I was like you yesterday cornergran, we must have had our flu jabs on the same day. I'd whizzed through some kitchen cleaning when I was struck by a sudden pale and wobbly spell...the rest of the day being spent mostly in my armchair. I've never had any reaction whatsoever before. Still a bit weak-kneed today but I'm going to start in on the ironing shortly.
If that goes well, I want to wash my filthy car before potentially frosty weather means I'll be turning the outside tap off for the winter.

Best wishes, Wwm, I hope all goes well.

Have the best possible day all of you.

Whitewavemark2 Thu 12-Oct-23 08:31:26

Oh! Thank you soooo much everyone

I appreciate everyone’s kindness.

Just going to tramp out with the dog then come home and stand in the shower with my hibiscrub😄😄😄

Urmstongran Thu 12-Oct-23 08:30:15

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s sunny and so drying out all the rain we had last night. I think I’ll get a takeaway coffee later and have a walk in the park.

Here’s Matt.
