I'm with Denplan. There are various different tiers of payment which include how many checkups, cleaning, etc which is assessed by the dentist but you can't be accepted by Denplan unless your teeth are ok to start with.

I'm not sure that the NHS would cover the cost of your 2 crowns actually, but I could be wrong as I have not had treatment under an NHS dentist since one nearly caused me to lose all my teeth years ago.

Hi. Does anyone know how Denplan works. I understand you need to visit a dentist first then you’ll be put into an appropriate band.
But does that then include all the work that needs to be done? I’ve just had a private check up and need £1700 of work doing to include two crowns. 😱 Can’t find an NHS dentist anywhere.
