Do you plan your meals?

I plan for a week. I have to feed dgs1 and dgs2 two days a week so I need to ensure I have enough in for them. I try to stick to a list to budget sensibly as I'm on a restricted income. I do a lot of batch cooking and freezing too

I sort of buy with a plan in mind but invariably fancy something else simpler like beans on toast but it all gets eaten eventually.

Usually yes, for the next 2-3 days.
I take a list when food shopping, but can almost guarantee that a) there’s something I forgot to put on the list, and b, that even if it’s on the list, I still forget to get it.
