A busy quick trip to surgery with sample , then food delivery from Wiltshire Foods ,and hopefully a cloths delivery as well .
Otherwise a day at home.
Take Care,

Good morning from Worcestershire, bright blue sky at the moment so fingers crossed for a good day!
Looking forward to carving the pumpkins later, they grew well this year and I have 12! My poor hands will probably not manage that many though.......

Good morning from a very wet East Kent. Dh not going to be able to volunteer his help at the local manor house Victorian gardens, as he usually does on a Monday. Fingers crossed it brightens up later so we can have a cliff top walk....I need something to wake me up! Sending calm and comfort to all that need it.

Jaxjacky Mon 30-Oct-23 07:51:26

Morning from a bright S Hants, it’s not raining for a change, but as WWM2 said we are due high winds and rain later in the week along the southern counties.
Voluntary phone day and quiz tonight, in between I’ll be sneaking in a walk and the necessary housework.
Hope oldudders has a calm crossing; Baubles be careful you don’t get inveigled into more!

Good morning all from saturated Harrogate
Glad you are managing to come off the Committee Ashcombe they are very tying. I have managed to stay off committees for the past 5 years and hope that is it!! I’m too old now!! Felt a bit rough yesterday so didn’t go to church, but did go to DD2s house to give DGS a birthday present ( his birthday is actually today but he will be going to his dads). Met my DDS new partner, then DGS decided he wanted
to come home with us, which turned out to be a good idea because I found our fridge freezer had failed and he’d helped us eat the contents. Today I shall have to make a huge pot of soup with the remaining once frozen veggies.
Today is my telephone 📞 day. So might have time to make a large soup as well!! Then I have to hope I have room to freeze it in the other freezer!
Have the best day possible folks

Good morning everyone from south Manchester. It’s raining. However I have some good news to share.

Himself asked his team at Christie’s if he would be able to travel abroad now he is not on chemotherapy and was delighted to be told he can. We fly out to Málaga on Sunday for 5 days. A mini break to see how we go. Isn’t it wonderful? I’m excited as you can imagine but also just a tiny bit apprehensive. Such a mixture of emotions! Back to our happy place. I will cry when I see our friends as so much has happened. We have private insurance as belt and braces, hoping of course it’s not required.

No Matt = Monday.

Good morning from a cloudy but fairly bright Black Country.

Arrived home yesterday around 1pm, the M5 was moving and no holdups.

Monday walk this morning, then my homemade chicken and vegetable soup with pearl barley for lunch which is simmering right now.

Half term here this week, so will see DD and family at some point, but I have the girls Friday to Sunday as they go away for SIL's recent 50th with friends. So have to think of things to entertain a 12 and 15 year old. Not the same once they are older, was much easier and less expensive! DS and family are on holiday in Turkey.

Wishing you all the best day possible

Marydoll,I so hope that the little symptoms of feeling less worse” carry on. And if you are thinking of planning a reunion, it sure means you are full of hope.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dreary and cold in South Yorkshire today. We had sunshine yesterday afternoon so I managed to get out for a short walk then spent the afternoon trying to get the level down in my overflowing water butt before we have more rain. Not sure what’s on the agenda today except to put more fuel in the car. Considering I hardly go anywhere, this car is very heavy on petrol!
Have the best day you can, folks!

Susan56 Mon 30-Oct-23 07:46:57

What a horrible thing to happen Grandmabatty.Hope you can get your car sorted today.x

Grandmabatty Mon 30-Oct-23 07:44:39

Marydoll I hope you feel better and better. The prospect of a Christmas catch up has cheered me up!

brook2704 Mon 30-Oct-23 07:44:28

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s grey but not actually raining, so hoping it stays dry today
Pleased your back safely Liberty after a wonderful holiday, looking forward to seeing the photos
We’re doing the school run today as SiL is on a course and using their car. After that I’ll be going to the gym and later a bit of gardening.
Early days marydoll but hoping your symptoms ease a bit with the change in meds. I’d be up for a glesca grannies meet up, dates permitting!
Your day sounds lovely alygran enjoy your walk along the pier and your fish and chips
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐6

Good morning from Durham. It’s wet yet again - getting boring now!
I need a quick shop somewhere, then DD2 and I are attempting a different pumpkin farm today - at least there’s a farm shop and cafe, if it’s too muddy in the fields and DGS2 loves a bit of cake! This is a final try, having been rained off/cancelled at other venues. I’m bringing her Little Dog back with me for 2 sleeps, so her cleaners can work their magic. I think I’ll have to walk him in the dark.
Best wishes to all. X

Gingster Mon 30-Oct-23 07:34:16

Liberty I’m glad to see you back after having a wonderful holiday . I look forward to a catch-up with you , and hearing all about it, if we are in Suffolk before Christmas. 🤞.

Pittcity Mon 30-Oct-23 07:27:26

Good morning from a dry Colchester. 15° high and rain this evening.
DH is fishing and DS is going back to base later this morning. I will change his bed and clean the house with nobody under my feet. A quiet evening with the TV quizzes.
Love to all 🦩 x

Good morning all from South Lanarkshire where it’s damp and overcast.

I’m going back to volunteering in my local charity shop this morning, full circle as it’s where I started before being employed by them. Four hours a week only and I will try not to be inveigled into doing more.

Have the best day possible everyone.
