My daughters been trying to get some inside work done and they all say ‘yes that’s fine’ then never get back, blooming frustrating isn’t it ?

Maybe hold back the celebrations until he's actually turned up and done the job?

Fingers crossed for you too. It took over a year to find someone who would come and do our trees, fencing and relay the front path. When they arrived they were lovely and finished the fencing and trees in two days. Then they started the path and it started to rain. Two weeks later and they finished mortaring today. Come Monday the skip will be gone off the drive...

Well the job is done. Am a happy bunny.
Kevin turned up on time, but when he went up to replace the slate, he discovered that 2 other slates had just been pushed into place so he had to drill holes in them and nail them on.
He said the roofer who did the big job, £4k worth, would have been responsible.
But he wouldn’t take any more payment for the work than he quoted.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
