Mine was the first time I saw Bryan Ferry on TV.I must have been about 30. It stopped me in my tracks. He was the sexiest man I had ever seen. He went a bit sleazy sadly.

In my early teens, I went to see From Russia with Love along with a group of friends. I’m not sure how we got in as, surely it was for over 18 s. Anyway, Sean Connery and the Russian lady spy ( not Rosa Klebb) were ‘ having a moment’ and I suddenly knew what all the fuss was about - if you see I mean. When I got home, I told my Mum that I had discovered sex ! I can remember how matter-of-fact she was when she asked me about it. In later years, we laughed about my sexual epiphany and, seeing the scene in the film again , as a middle aged woman , I thought - “ What a slime ball . “ !
