Favourite day?

Sunday for sure. Go to church, cook a roast, eat it at dining table with best china and glasses (for wine!) DH washes up and makes the coffee and produces chocolate and then I snooze with the Sunday paper. Bliss!

What is a deep purple day?

Every day, I’m very fortunate to have a wonderful life.

Monday for me too, all nice and fresh with no mistakes yet!

My favourite day is often Friday as we go out for fish and chips! However any day when I see the AC and GC is my real favourite!

Usually it's Friday as that's the day my granddaughter arrives for the weekend! My youngest granddaughter has stayed with me most weekends since she was born (she's now 12, going on 30) and I love our time together!

Wednesday - I finish work early and my son will come over, we'll spend some time putting the world to rights and have some food together....it's just a lovely time.

Tuesdays & Thursdays which are both due to having my favourite lessons at school, over 50 years ago.

You say Thursday is a ‘deep purple day’. I just wondered if you see all the days of the week in colours as I have always done since a child? Months too. I see Thursday as a deep purple red, strangely enough. Friday is my favourite day, though ( left over from my working days, I suppose), which is a very dark green! I look forward to the weekend (Sat=light blue, Sun=white!) for no particular reason!

For Me it’s Friday even though My Partner and I no longer work it’s that Weejebd feeling .We allow ourselves to have a few drinks to whether We pop out or stay at home 😁🍹🍷

Monday and Fridays are 'my days' when I try and do only what I (and the OH!) want even if that's just pottering around the house. Rest of the week is enjoyable but busy and is more family, friends and church orientated.

Every day - wake up with a blank canvas to fill with whatever I like !

Wednesday. I have to set the alarm on tuesday to get the rubbish out on time. I ache first thing in the morning and its always a struggle as i don't have time to let the paracetamol work before doing it. I LOVE wednesdays because they aren't tuesdays.

I hated Mondays when I was working. Sunday dread of Mondays was a downer too.

But now I Love Mondays! It opens up my whole week of things I want to do. Fridays/Saturdays are Fun days.

Never liked Sundays - still don’t.

Wednesday - afternoon at the library with the writer’s group, and the monthly poetry session. We read our homework (if we’ve done it😳), have fun, put the world to rights, and sometimes do an off the cuff exercise or two. The rest of the group are seasoned writers and I’m the newbie who is just starting to feel as if she has earned her place.

I have two days actually. Tuesday with granddaughter and Friday when we have a relaxed evening with tapas or sushi or ribs. Did I mention we enjoy a nice wine as well!

Today is my favourite day - finally going home after 5 weeks and 6 days in hospital!

I like weekends.No appts to rush to or urgent phone calls to make.Can get up at leisure(but usually only 1 up early to feed cat!) so can lounge in bed with a cuppa.&watch whatever i like in between putting food & washing on.😁

Sunday for me, now I’m retired! I still get a thrill from NOT having that dread when I hear the Antiques Roadshow theme tune tolling the end of the weekend! No more work for me! A whole week ahead to fill as I please….

At present, Saturday because I enjoy Strictly and totally love Survivor.

Definitely Friday, if the family come they arrive on Friday. Also I don’t feel guilty having wine with my dinner!

I'd say Sundays. I still work, and most chores are done on Saturday, so Sundays are all about me and my family.
I call one of my siblings and have a long chat, go for a nice walk with DH and dog, and if I'm lazy in the afternoon it's perfectly ok.

Thursdays in anticipation of Friday and Saturday and now because I'm teaching craft .

Thursday - volunteering day and I catch up with everyone's news.
