Favourite day?

Normally a Friday. Dd comes in with dgs2 for a chat.

Wednesday. Art class and pizza for tea, followed by Corrie.

Thursday. It is a deep purple day and I never have much call on my time. Lovely

Saturday for me ...... Mr R cooks the dinner and my eldest daughter comes around to join us. And, of course, at the moment "Strictly" is on the telly.

Fridays, we always have an Italian supper. Extra special when the DD's were at uni and came home sometimes for the weekend. I loved the feeling of the station in Winter time and all the commuters were getting off looking relaxed.
We still text each other" It's the weekend".

Thursdays for me. I volunteer in the gardens at a local National Trust property and everyone is so friendly and relaxed. This is followed by a Tai chi session organised through U3A, where I meet more lovely people

Sunday as my son always phones me for a lovely long chat. My husband asks whatever we find to talk about for so long!

Any day but Monday

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down .......

Normally Wednesday afternoon. Cup of tea and Patrick Swayze film. Gosh.

Sunday. The children usually pop in and I can potter about.

Friday is my favourite, it’s the day of movement with people arriving for the weekend, and for going away, going to town etc. and the weekend to look forward to.
I really dislike Tuesdays, I always have done since I was in school, it’s when you’ve forgotten last weekend and it’s ages till the next one - and I always associate it with hard work doing things I have to do but don’t want to,

I don’t currently have a favourite day, but I have realised that I need to have specific plans for Tuesdays, as it is my worst day.

Either Friday or Saturday.

Not Mondays. And I still get that ‘Sunday night feeling’, even though I retired 10 years ago.

I retired early 20 years ago Calendargirl and I still get the "Sunday night feeling", DH knows from my face and always says relax," No work tomorrow".

I enjoy every day apart from Tuesday, which necessitates me wrangling 3 & 8 yr old GC at swimming lessons.

This week my favourite day will be Saturday cos our sons are visiting our new home and we’ll be having a feast at the local pub.
Otherwise I’d say every day is a favourite since we retired, especially the dry and sunny ones.

Sunday, as MrJ doesn’t work and we do very little, or meet up with the children and their families, which we’re doing this coming weekend.

Saturday - we go out exploring.

Thursday. It was my day-off when I was working. Since I've been retired I still try to treat it as a "day off" and try not to arrange too much on that day - and then try only to book things that I really want to do

Elder son comes to dinner every Sunday since his divorce, so I like Sundays now. Used to hate them.
Other son is variable in his visits, so favourite day is moveable really

Friday, definitely. Although I retired 4 1/2 years ago, I still get that Friday Feeling! And it's good to know that my hardworking DDs and partners will be looking forward to their weekend off with their families.

I listen to Boom Radio and still get that thrill when I hear Nicky Horne announce, "The weekend starts here" at five o'clock!

Monday. Or Sunday.
Monday I have more energy, after having rested on Sundays.
