Indulgences ... do you have one?

Fame perfume -I just love the smell.
2 fleecy bedding. I’ve never had to get into a cold bed since we started using it.

My grandchildren .
Love shopping for them 💜
Other indulgence would probably be my gym membership

L'Occitane amber perfume,,, and Art Exhibitions which are remarkably expensive now

If we go long haul again, I hope to go Business Class.

A big indulgence.

Dark chocolate and books, I spend way too much on buying books. I dislike
e-readers.

Theatre and a 5* hotel is my indulgence but very occasionally as so expensive.

Cruelty free face creams.
Flowers.

African Blue coffee, can only buy in Germany, but for first coffee of the morning this is a must. Supplies from family, and when I go over there.

Good leather boots from Gabor or Gerry Weber. Expensive but so warm, stylish and comfortable. Worth every penny!

My indulgence is knitting yarn. I love it and own loads of balls of it. All my free time is spent knitting as i can't sit without keeping my hands busy. I blame my mum who taught me to never waste time in doing nothing. It's something she did and she was 100 when she died. She was a very good example.

Mine has been a new bathroom this year and replacing the bath with a larger more luxurious tub. I too take long hot baths as it helps my arthritis. I'm careful with the heating - but like loads of hot water!

My bean to cup coffee machine. I love a freshly made cup of coffee.

Books and Flowers

I have a variety of indulgences. The most important one for me is my precious fresh coffee. However hard up I am I never drink instant coffee and when I am at home it is rather like the japanese tea ceremony as I love the smell of fresh coffee especially when you just open the vaccuum pack. If there was a perfume "eau de cafe" I would probably wear it! I use a cafetiere but like the tea drinkers always warm it first, then in with the coffee and NOT boiling water just as it is coming up to the boil. Then I have two special white china mugs which I drink my coffee from. A daily joy which cheers my day whether I am in a lot of pain or too many bills arriving!! I even take my china mug out with me if I go to a coffee shop as I detest drinking out of horrible thick heavy cups and as for cardboard Huh!! So I used to work for an airline many years ago and loved to buy Nina Ricci "L'Air de Temps" when it was all duty free. Bought enough to last me for quite a few years but alas it has all gone now and I darent even look at the cost nowadays! Lovely clean cotton or linen
sheets that have been dried outside, and smell so lovely. If i won the lottery I would have clean ones put on every night (with of course someone else able to make the bed for me!) As I am now a diabetic and should not have chocolate, my really guilty pleasure is having a small amount of very dark good chocolate and yes Ritter sport if you can find it which has that peppermint one and also nuts in dark chocolate. fortunately I rarely see any about so cant go mad on that .Oh I will stick with the coffee and the sheets !

Oh I didnt think to add books and music as they are so essential to my life I dont even think of them as luxuries

I love my bean to cup coffee machine too but I no longer regard it as an indulgence, it's become a necessity!

Clarks shoes and sandals- won't buy any other make and I have 10 pairs atm. Too many too small shoes when I was a child so now I buy these as they are really comfortable.
Oh and Nescafe instant coffee as I can't drink percolated it upsets my stomach. Have had other brands though when visiting.

"Urmstongram", did you know that you can buy 5litres of the sea kelp handwash for under £20 from an online hygiene store? OK, it's in a plastic container, but you could refill your pump bottle for ages. I love their products too, but usually stock up in their sale offers.

I love Gabor shoes. I also love Moshulu boots, i have 3 pairs biker style and they are so comfy. I have a pair of softest leather ankle boots by Gudrun Sjoden and every time I wear them people ask where I bought them. Good footwear has always been a priority for me.

Hermes perfume. I have tried many other brands, but always come back to Hermes. I have a whole wardrobe of their fragrances for different seasons. (Currently wearing Elixir des Merveilles.)

Montezuma (100% cocoa) chocolate! I like both kinds. One is plain and the other has orange and cocoa nibs. They have it in Sainsbury's. It's expensive. I only buy it occasionally because, if it's in the cupboard, I will eat it till it's all gone.
